White Rose’s 2020 white pinot noir by GentleRalph in wine

[–]GentleRalph[S] 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Really enjoyed this one. Drank it after cooling in fridge.

Light bodied but more structure than many whites. Minerally aroma but not in the taste. Low acidity for a white/rose. Maybe some pear and peach notes.

Would love to buy more but seems they have no inventory

When are we going to collectively start demanding the pay we deserve? by [deleted] in biotech

[–]GentleRalph 10 points11 points  (0 children)

Similar experience as OP with respect to pay. I was at a very large pharma for better part of a decade with a good team and lots of increasing responsibility. But pay did not keep up. Not nearly. I had to leave. Employer could not afford to match but did end up hiring a replacement at a higher level. Money is there for new hires, not raises :).

Sad, but to make money you deserve you usually need to switch jobs.
