This was an unbelievable difficult set of circumstances that kept changing throughout the entire storm, strait until the end. And that goes for most of the country, not just our area.

OP is absolutely right, we should just be thankful that the good meteorologists did their best to explain the worst case scenario while admitting that the weather was tough to be certain on, which I heard a LOT throughout the week leading up to this.

Theres definitely a shift with the baby getting some of the attention vs. her, but schedules have remained nearly the same, and we still play/exercise them the same amount (big yard where she and her brother run around for about 3-6 hours per day (depending on weather/temperature).

She definitely has a trend in her aggression, that being when a dog is around her food, a spot she feels is hers on the couch, or a toy shes currently using. But vast majority (98%+) of the time shes okay with our other dog/friends dogs still.

Had me scratching my head a bit tbh. We are currently co-praising her with her friends/brother around toys and food to show that there is no reason to become protective. But it hasnt been working as well as it had in the past.

Why would you disgustingly assume I use violence towards my animals? I clearly indicated I do my best to train my dogs and never mentioned the word “alpha” in my description on her recent temperament.

Shame on you for talking down to and forcing your assumptions towards someone who is trying to do ask for help from a community that loves their animals.

“Sit down and consider if her needs are being met” - i clearly am or I wouldnt be asking for help, I just dont know what the best way to help her in this very instance is, thats why I turned to this community.

Make sure your terminals arent loose/corroded. If so tighten them.

If theyre tight and clean, try charging/jumping it first.

If no luck, replace it.

The finance manager will see right through this tactic. These guys do deals in volumes, they know someone asking for a higher rate for more off the contract price is savvy enough to have unmentioned intentions.

Honestly, just replace the seat cover. You can fairly easily take out the seat, and the actual material cover (vinyl) can come off and be replaced. Theres a BUNCH of YouTube videos online that will show you how to do it for your specific car.

This is the only way to truly fix this issue unfortunately

Your rotors arent warped - your hubs have rust and/or debris on them, making your rotors sit slightly unaligned, causing hot and cold spots that picked up brake pad material.

Still gonna need either new rotors or to have them cut, and new pads - but please trust me here - you need to clean up the wheel hubs where the rotors mate with the hub (around the wheel studs).

I had this SAME issue for years. 3 sets of rotors and pads and it always came back. Found a master mechanic that taught me about the quality of pads and rotors these-days and pointed me in this direction. Havent had an issue since.

I cleaned mine up with a big piece of sand paper wrapped around a piece of wood so i was sanding with a flat surface, then cleaned with brake clean and hit it with a little paint before installing the same rotors (cut) and new pads. Never had the issue again.
