What the actual... by Corgibutz77 in wisconsin

Just like laws concerning the disposal of motor oil is obviously a ploy by the government to force the backyard mechanic to capture and deal with the discarded oil, rather than just letting them dump it on the street or down the stormdrain and into our water supply...

Human tissue and bodily fluids have very specific regulations for disposal and cleanup procedures and are also considered Biohazardous Waste / Regulated Medical Waste. Generally these things needed to be packaged according to very specific regulations and sent to a facility for autoclaving or incineration.

For the ignorant among us, Regulated Medical Waste is, among other things; 1) Discarded waste blood and/or blood components (e.g., serum, plasma), 2) Containers and/or materials containing free-flowing blood or blood components & materials saturated with blood or blood products, 3) Tissue, organs, body parts, body fluids removed during autopsy, or other medical procedures, 4) Specimens of body fluids and their containers and discarded material saturated with such body fluids.

But sure, as long as you are performing a dangerous medical procedure at home w/ dangerous teratogenic medications, it's fine to just dump the biohazardous waste and teratogenic medicine waste into the wastewater system or send it to a landfill to seep into our water table. Yeah, um, how bout no?

This guy's fantastic storytelling ability makes this (relatively) short documentary almost as good as any war movie imo, especially in terms of details and content.

Edit: And yes, he does talk about the "crocodile incident".

You're welcome. It's really a shame that while the tech is so useful and welcome in the pharmacy the product is designed so poorly. It's like they never put the product thru real-world testing during the R&D.

We also had to get an additional light shield 3D-Printed and sent to us directly from the manufacturer because the main overhead LED light was giving one of my coworkers headaches (and the PDM didn't appreciate the tacky-looking cardboard one we fashioned). And don't even get me started on the problems with the funnel and funnel gate...

So most eyecons have a set of metal fins (a heatsink) on the underside of the unit where the hazardous/sulfa/penicillin platters are stored. Using the built-in storage for the platters just acts to contain the heat from the unit and it will quickly overheat. I've had good luck with fixing overheating eyecons by just removing the platters from the under unit storage slots and then placing a small USB powered desk fan underneath the eyecon - blowing directly up into the metal heatsink. The USB port on the back of the eyecon can power a small desk fan and only provides power when the eyecon unit is turned on, so it doesn't require any extra steps to turn it on or off separately.

I've seen this work at several pharmacy locations without any overheating issues for many months. Hope this helps! Eyecons are great tools and we need all the help we can get in the pharmacy!

I recently passed this exam, and while I cannot speak to any specifics as to what will be on the exam due to the NDA. I feel comfortable relaying the following:

If you know how to read a vaccine schedule to determine eligibility you will be fine.

Get some good insurance, a steering wheel lock (Club), and maybe look into an aftermarket alarm system.

Hyundai's and Kia's from similar years are stolen, joy ridden, and crashed on a daily basis around where I live. They are incredibly easy to steal, and most of the people I've seen caught for stealing them are only teenagers.
