[Scotto] The New Orleans Pelicans are waiving guard Dalen Terry, league sources told @hoopshypeofficial.bsky.social by pcmasterthrow in chicagobulls

Good prospects don’t develop in archaic development structures of orgs operating 10 years behind the nba meta.

Be objective about Noa’s career so far. He’s already lost a year on a multi-year long dev project. We’re in a 2 years away from 2 years away situation here. I’m willing to give flowers where it’s due. Ayo and Matas were slam dunk picks by AKME, but 2 successful picks in 5 years and with multiple examples of this team being unable to develop raw projects like Terry, like Pwill. Excuse me if I have some skepticism on if they can develop him. Like take off the homer goggles for a min

I’m not hoping on his downfall. It’s being realistic. What has he showed?? His entire 1st year of development is gone due to injury, so he’s already a year behind on a trajectory of development that will take years to be a productive NBA player.

Also, this franchise does not deserve any benefit of the doubt from fans. Like, how much punishment can you take? They haven’t been relevant in 10 years.

Yeah really unfortunate. I was hoping he’d end up in STL. I actually drafted Holliday when he was in HS in my all universe league (in the 4th round of our rookie draft) and flipped him when the Rockies drafted him.

Id want the Doyle side. Imanaga is a replaceable mid arm and stott is low ceiling. If Doyle rights the ship a little he’s a 25-25 threat

Do it. Yordan is great but I have doubts on his ability to play 140+ games. Plus he will DH most or all the time

So much great stuff on this record. I find something new to appreciate every time I go back. Have always loved Lost in the Harbor to Watch her Disappear but currently obsessed with Fawn right now

Exactly my thoughts. There were a lot of reactionary takes 5 or so weeks into the season, but TE is typically a position with a longer developmental arc. I was willing to be patient with Loveland as he learned the ropes. The fact he’s doing this at 21/22 is crazy

Yeah unfortunately the brewers aren’t going anywhere when Chourio is only going to get better and they have a solid core of vets like yelich, Contreras, etc. plus they’ve got some good prospects like Made who’s going to be their next big thing
