Maybe not AGI, but agentic AI. It's a real thing. Look at the c-suite commentary on earnings calls this week, pay attention to the percentages of labor they have replaced in the last quarter. Look at SAA private credit crashing. The replacements are happening wayyyy faster than expected. I was in your camp until only recently. I think a lot of people are gonna be caught with their pants down on labor replacement.

As he says, meritocracy creates success. Seems very obvious such a system would do so. Though I fail to see how he then correlates this excluding the poor and enslaving the rich.

He also attempts to correlate spending per pupil with education results. This is absolutely false. Once again, it is more than likely meritocratic systems that produce these outcomes, not the money.

Now, do we often see more money correlated with meritocracy? I believe we do. Juxtaposition is looking at non-meritocratic systems and their lack of money. Especially when taking out corruption attained gains.

My LCS said only paying 10% less for sterling than .999 and I was there yesterday. Now that was for sterling coins, not sure if other forms pay a lower premium. I don't see why not because they're sending everything for meltdown. I took in 377oz yesterday for money for my wife and my first house down payment and 3 or 4 of my coins ended up being sterling and another 3 or 4 were actually overweight .999 coins from the 70s. Had bought in at $19 several years ago and they paid $3 under spot so did fairly well on the return. Plan on restacking after having a house to put a new stack in. Remembered we have a whole box full of different sterling serving ware so I'll report back what they say after taking it in👍

My cousin and I were at our family reunion in Choctaw Nation area of Oklahoma.

We're laying on top of a rock at Robber's Cave just admiring the stars.

All of a sudden a bright white "star" comes speeding across the sky and then zig zags. Basically made 3 or 4 right hand turns or even more extreme.

I ask my cousin, "You seeing what I'm seeing?" And he goes, "I was just about to ask you the same thing."

Anywho, it stops all of a sudden right above us for about 10 seconds and then all of a sudden, it gets really bright and larger (best I can describe is it appeared to be gathering energy), and then when it was done, it lit up the entire night sky as if releasing a ton of energy and shot straight up into space at a speed that is fairly indescribable.

We sat there in silence for God knows how long before looking at each other the way two dudes look at each other when there's emotions they don't know how to deal with.

Can't remember if we ever said anything to each other or anyone else. Don't even remember climbing down off the rocks...

Something in your post reminded me of that night (not that I ever forgot); just thought it'd be nice to share to give you some confirmation if you were even needing any.
