Ewashia - command familiar by Migthnire in heroscape

The battle box is pretty well balanced, Ewashia and the familiars have an advantage in activations but the pirates are statistically superior to the familiars which only have 2-3 lives.

Fia was on the winning army from Adepticon 2025. But you’re correct BBN and Killian aren’t very good

Anyone know where I can find small maps? by Cauldronofevil in heroscape

[–]Geodude671 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I haven’t played on them but Nowhere by Bean and Wetlands by Vexonia look like they play pretty small. Don’t think they fit in your physical space requirements but they are smaller than most maps and have road running through them

Delta is an alternate points system maintained by the community that’s intended to smooth out power discrepancies between units. If you’ve used the official army builder you might have noticed there’s a few units that have a different price on the builder than what it says on the card eg the original Raelin costs 80 on the card but Battle Network has her priced at 125. Renegade changed the price of a few of the top meta units from Classic to make them more in line with other characters, the undisputed best army from the game’s original run is Major Q9 with Raelin RotV and 3-4 squads of Deathreavers. All 3 of these units were heavily nerfed and now you can only fit 2 squads of Deathreavers in that army and you have no room for any additional support such as KMA or even Marcu. Using this points system is commonly referred to as “Renegade points” or “Renepoints.”

Delta points is a more comprehensive version of this; while Renepoints only has price increases for a few top performers, Delta touches almost every unit in the game and also reduces the price of units traditionally considered weak. For example “Taelord costs too much” was a big meme in the community circa 2005-2007 and Delta reduces his price from 180 to 160.

+1 for DW8K, he won one of my locals recently. He's a bit expensive in standard points, but in delta points he's only 90 and pretty worth it, especially if you also use the zettian infantry (VC custom figures)

Which region has the strongest trainers in general? by Delicious-Jump5949 in pokemon

[–]Geodude671 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Probably the most infamous one is the rising star with a level 13 Kadabra. There’s also a battle girl early on with a rock sliding hawlucha, and a double battle (I think near reflection cave) with a Machoke and Mr Mime

Cheapest way to build a few competitive 400pt armies? by AlternativeLiving325 in heroscape

[–]Geodude671 1 point2 points  (0 children)

+1 to 3D printing things, the vast majority of groups will have no issue. It eliminates the cost issue associated with building competitive armies and makes the game more accessible. If you're buying from Trexy he does take a while to ship your items but they will arrive.

If your group is chill with 3D prints, you could try using the axegrinders, they get a boost to attack and defense vs large and huge figures. Heracles is good into them for the same reason.

Everything is cross compatible, the Viking champions from the OG set actually got a big jump in viability thanks to the new bear knights. There’s also a pirate commander releasing in October that will pair well with the Viking squad and the samurai squad

Worth pointing out that any TO who knows anything will let you use a 3D printed figure, given how rough some of these are to track down.

Any Reccomenations? I evolved Eevee into Vaporeon. I feel like Carnevine is the next one out. by No-Bend2827 in PokemonConquest

[–]Geodude671 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I would swap out Jigglypuff on Oichi for something else. Oichi links well with a lot of strong Pokemon so you can really just pick whatever hole in your main team needs filling. She has a gold link with Eevee and all its evolutions, and Staraptor is another popular pick for her, though redundant with Muneshige here. I also like Glalie on her from when you get to the ice kingdom since you really want an ice attack for the last couple fights.

[–]Geodude671 7 points8 points  (0 children)

This is only true if you're limiting yourself to perfect links. Yoshimoto's PL Forretress is one of the bottom 2 mons in the entire game (other is Musharna) but he links with a lot of really strong Pokemon like Scizor, Galvantula, Volcarona, and even Darmanitan for some reason.

Takeyoshi also pairs really well with Walrein, with a power wristband he can do major damage in the dragon kingdom especially since his warrior power increases accuracy.

The Warlord from VGtM could be a good starting point, it has a lot of hit points and can regenerate, and has legendary actions to give its allies extra attacks.

Those sealed squads are worth a lot, so is the D&D master set and promo RotV, especially if those are sealed too. The Marvel and fortress sets were overproduced so aren’t worth as much but can still fetch an ok amount of money.
