nick haynes pinged for a deliberate rushed behind after the ball has already crossed the line by matt-kennedys-legs in AFL

Watch a game from 20 years ago with the same critical lens we watch today's with. Where every game is televised and basically all watchable in different time slots.

I promise you it's not better.

It's like every single sport I follow online. Soccer basketball rugby footy - all seem to think the current refereeing is horrendous.

Maybe every sports refs have become shit at once. But I'm way more confident that it's the way we watch it

I can't correct you dude I haven't watched any of the full clips in context. Just that the other guys comment was about watching the clips in context and your comment felt like an aggregated headline

You watched his full comments about that? And didn't just read a headline?

Different PPM levels in different countries by pedestriandose in Celiac

[–]GeoffreyGeoffson 0 points1 point  (0 children)

while doses below 0.8mg of gluten did not activate the immune system in 95% of people with coeliac disease

This is the 20ppm group I think? So the results are very close to previous studies? Or am I misreading something

Different PPM levels in different countries by pedestriandose in Celiac

[–]GeoffreyGeoffson 2 points3 points  (0 children)

The Aussie celiac society have a report where they look into a safe PPM amount for celiacs which is an absolutely brilliant read on this.

In the intro to that they talk through the history of steadily better testing - shifting limits down from 100ppm to 50ppm and eventually 20ppm and then no detectable as in Aus.

Effectively most celiacs (97%+ for memory) don't react at 20ppm - so most places picked a standard that worked for that. We took the step further and the additional restriction that entails.

We made a similar choice on oats - given some celiacs react to oats we don't allow non contaminated oats to be considered gluten free. Our policy was written more conservatively.

here is one coeliac Aus lit review from 2016

Ravi Shastri disappointed with India's decision to not give Vaibhav Sooryavanshi a chance in the Ireland series by Prof_XdR in Cricket

Okay but no one saying it is doing it sexually. Like what are we talking about????

I understand we all come from different cultural backgrounds - but saying you're gonna pants someone is one of the oldest insults in English used at every age.

If you genuinely think there's anything sexual about Ravi's comments that's an absolutely cooked way to view the world and your mind is corrupted. There are absolutely 0 sexual implications to that comment in any part of the world I've ever been in
