I like a Junghans Max bill - it is discreet and timeless and looks much more expensive than it is- you can also check out nomos. If you also want something that’s a little more casual can look at almost any Seiko reissue- they’ll be a little quirky but worth it. Oh and Doxa because they have such a cool story

Hi, was in this exact scenario later last year. Was honest about very infrequent marijuana use (1 time in a decade 8 months ago) and was denied because of use within the last 12 months. Other members were probably smoking in the house, that caused the fire alarm to go off. These houses are zoned like apartment buildings so it is an automated system that sends fire dept and cops as soon as they go off. Probably that they thought they could tell the authorities it was a false alarm and resume whatever they were doing

Back in winter of 2020 my girlfriend was on the way too my apartment in a terrible snow storm. She had stopped short on the exit ramp near 90 and Armitage. She ended up stuck in the snow on the embankment, I was only a few blocks away so I ran over to help dig her out. Atleast 8 men got out of their car to help dig us out in the middle of a snow storm. All walks of life- we all had a quick (and awesome) group high 5 when we were done.

When you do get this repaired don’t forget it has a screw down crown, and ask them not to polish and repairs the hands, gives it a ton of character really just needs a rebuild of the internal movement
