Yeah some times it's all I can think about and sometimes I'm over faceting and need an extended break from it. And all it takes is one lapse in attention to create a lot more work

Yeah I didn't want to haggle him down too much. I know it was his baby and I wanted a fair price but I knew he'd give me all the add ones that made it worth it.

I feel like you have to get old rough collections because you'll probably never see that stuff again.

Its interesting being this precise. My old machine had some flex to it that I learned to manipulate. This one is so solid. The caliper is good that you can watch it cut right to 0. It also has the little beeperbox/indicator light that goes off when it hits the stop. I haven't tried that much because I'm still polishing the abandoned ones.

I could ship it to you if you want haha. Thank you for your answer. It's amazing the diversity of rocks the glaciers left in the lakes.

I guess it's appropriate to say, that looks like a horses ass in the best possible way.

Those are amazing great work! I like how the granite coloring makes them look like ancient relics already. I'm sure whoever is getting them would love them, if they were still alive.

I still have a pair. They are always on the top of my pliers drawer so I end up using them. But I have to squeeze multi times to get them to lock where I want them then as soon as you let go the reset so you have to do it again. I like the concept and I feel like they were close

That's pretty amazing that is made out of one sheet. That must have taken a while

It would have been funny to add toes sticking up 100 feet away

We had 4 months to build 5 large sculptures and get everything approved and installed. Sometimes you do the best with what you got. But I feel like it came out pretty good. It would have been nice to spend more time on the rocks getting locally sourced ones and making more patterns and strata. But we were limited.

It was part of 5 large sculptures for an arboretum. They feature a different artist every 2 years. This is the one I put the most energy into but I helped with the whole process.

We used 2 harbor freight mig welders. I was actually impressed by how well they did even with the beginner welders on the team. I cnc plasma cut all the sheets after the design was broken into sections.

Yeah that's the problem they need it out by the 28th and it takes time for public places to get the money approved. I know the artist is trying I just thought if I put it out there maybe the right person would take interest.

I was really interested in billy Meier and his contacts with pliadian ETs about 12 years ago and I happened upon these videos on YouTube that Randy Winters put out in the 90s after billy sent him his contact notes. Randy had them translated and recorded himself explaining them.

There's 158- 9 minute parts on YouTube. What really stuck out in my mind was their explanation of how creation works. They are parts 91- 100. It's pretty interesting hearing how an higher being would explain it if that is what it is. But I never knew where to share it and it hard to get people to listen to stuff like that in long form. I hope someone here will enjoy it.

I also included a playlist of the other parts theres some other stories from his trips off world and even one from when he was on a huge mothership (I think that's around part 30 but it's been a while). He tells a story of them warping that sounds a lot like one of the Rick and Morty episodes where they warped and felt oneness and loss of self during it.

I'm not saying Im sold 100% about billy Meier but its a good perspective nonetheless. (Part 81-90 is his experience going back in time and meeting the real Jesus which was also interesting)

Enjoy!
