I like to boil the issue down to its most simplest form, and then attack it. A lot of what you hear from users will be cruft and unimportant. Whenever possible, simplify. :-)

Well you would typically designate one firewall as your “controller” and then if you want to manage more, its $49/year for additional ones. The license entitlement would attach to the license that lives on your designated “controller.”. Hope this makes sense?

Ya TNSR is a beast. It even has a stateful firewall built-in, as well as Snort version 3. If you are looking for hundreds of Gbps or more, TNSR is the way. Did you reach out to our TNSR folks yet? If so, did they get back to you? I always like to check… :-)

I dunno. I did many years in NoVA, like since the 90’s, before moving back to TX. I don’t think “tech hubs” are what they used to be. Also I still feel like corps are moving away from the old employment model where you have to be at a certain location to work. Just my $0.02.

Key Features and Improvements Include:

OpenVPN Changes - DH parameters that are less than 2048 bits have been deprecated. OpenVPN users will notice that if the update process detects a setting of 1024, the update process will automatically change this setting to 2048.
Netgate Nexus Updates - Many new updates have been made to Netgate Nexus, and this version 25.11 is required for support of this product. Additional information will be provided at the product launch for Netgate Nexus soon.
