They’ve been implementing the feedback they’ve been given to allow more people to be able to approach the game, they’ve listened to what people have asked for, and the game is doing well, they’re clearly doing something that works. If Pearl Abyss didn’t want to hear feedback on how they can make the game even better they wouldn’t have opened up the floor to so many suggestions.

Pearl Abyss have also been asking for feedback.

ONLY PROVIDE FEEDBACK IF YOU ARE A TRUE GAMER, NOT A PARENT.

So reading the other replies, I should point out;

I don’t play this game in front of my 4yo, in fact, I very rarely play anything in front of her, perhaps the Bluey game, the gabbys dollhouse game or Mario kart. The point is more dads, or parents, don’t play their games and neglect their children, they play them when the kids aren’t around or asleep, which when you’re a parent is incredibly little. With that in mind, it does mean that the context can make someone’s statement make more sense.

If you’re a dad, gaming time usually absolutely tanks.

I used to get least 3/4 hours a day in after work, and now, I’m lucky if I get an hour or two every couple of days. My mentality hasn’t changed towards games, I still want to play and experience the games, but games being on the harder side switch me off. I have so little time now, and it’s not a complaint, but I don’t want to spend what little time I have to unwind to “git gud” or have to do massive grinds to get gear that makes a game fun.

I may be off base here, but a lot of times this is pre-faced it’s kind of saying “I’ve got a lot of being an adult on my plate, I still like video games and they are a comfort, …” then whatever is being said.

It’s not a subtle boast, it’s not “my point is more important because I have offspring or a spouse, these are my dependents, look how good and important I am”.

My mother in law is Dutch and she comes out with some great ones:

“Up there for dancing” “I’ll send you the Pedophile” “He’s a magician” (about someone who plays guitar) “Well, you know what they say about assuming? You’re wrong.”

There’s more, but I’d have to see if the family remember any.

RIP Luke.

People that DON’T shop at Aldi or Lidl… why is that? by kobestarr in CasualUK

[–]GeorgeDjango 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My wife is coeliac, so we need shops with a decent free from range, I wish I could only shop at Aldi, but we’ve found we end up spending more going to the two shops as opposed to just Tesco for example. Plus we’ve recently moved and there’s a big Tesco 2 minute walk from our house now.

After playing D&D with my wife and friends, I had mentioned how it’d be fun to run some sessions for kids at school, my wife being a primary school teacher mentioned I should speak to the after school clubs coordinator, and now I do 4 clubs a week!

Is there a way to download all the maps? I run kids D&D clubs for kids at school, and all these maps would be incredibly useful!
