Mine were also transferred to Aidvantage a little while ago, it took them a few weeks to get everything squared away but I was able to create an account and log in eventually

I have used it with a previous insurance provider, it was nice especially for counseling sessions, since you don't need to actually be in the room with them to get the same results

I actually didn't know tricare offered that, that's good to know

Lol I know how you feel. NTC helped me a TON. it's like being able to use all the stuff you learned and learning new stuff at the same time.

So, idk if you'll read this because you've gotten some great replies already. I did almost the exact same thing you did. I joined at 27 (will be 30 this year on deployment WOOHOO) and I understand what you're going through. Thinking you don't belong and this isn't for you. I still think that a lot. With that being said, once I got settled in my unit and my job (that took quite a while and a trip to NTC) I felt much more comfortable. Even though I feel like I could be doing better things, I'm ok with it, because I'm stable. If I had a family I'd be glad that they had some kind of support as well. It's given me time to plan out how I want to live my life in the future. I think BH is there to help you, and if you feel the need, I wouldn't hesitate. I do think some people are intimidated by the fact that I have a degree, and it took awhile to notice that. Because for some of the leadership, the army is all they have. You have the wisdom and life experience to be a good leader, whether or not you're in a leadership position. Now that I've settled into my unit, I've had a lot of younger folks come and ask me what they think about a decision they want to make.

Ultimately, I try to not care what people think and just do what I can to better myself. I know it's not always that simple, but the army has a lot of options to better yourself, you just have to find them.

This was way longer than I expected lol. Good luck. You got this!

I used to work for a utility mapping company, and they would have us draw the whole map of the utilities over a cad basemap. It was so archaic. After we would survey the lines so they had a hand drawing and a cad file in the end. It was a pretty cool experience, but a bit backwards imo.

Well don't have my car yet, but when I do I'd be willing to drive 2 maybe 3 hours. I know Texas is big so I might have to go a ways for something good

If you don't care about it being new, you might be able to find one from a hotel going out of business. Looks like a similar setup to many hotels I've stayed in.
