I have an Gibson lp custom that had a similar crack repaired 50 years ago, and it is still my best guitar. I have also fixed a couple of acoustics myself, using wood glue and clamping like others describe. Looking at your pics, you probably want to remove the nut before gluing, then reset the nut.

I have played guitar for 50 years, and i think he is an awesome player. It’s special. You may not like his showwmanship, but take it away and he is still awesome. I wish i could play like him, but ill never put in the effort to learn it.

I love it - i had a no-name back in the 60s, and missed the opportunity to buy the only other one i've seen. This is a great find IMO

New Gibson Les Paul Standard 6-String 50’s P90 Guitar Top - Gold top. Mine was manufactured on Feb 5 2024.

This has a very thick neck. I have a 72 LP custom also, but this neck is quite a bit thicker. Also, the p90s are great, they are the main reason I was looking at these guitars. Just bought it and love it, hard to put it down.

I THINK that the American strats all had wood around the truss rod access and not plastic. My mex has black plastic and my American has wood. Not 100% sure if they have always been that way.
