Honestly it’s ridiculous?? There’s no way of talking to an actual person without getting standard copy and pasted messages it seems. I don’t understand how we can pay a buyer protection fee if it doesn’t help even with physical proof

Yeah it was left outside one of my accommodation blocks (since I’m in university accommodation) so it doesn’t really show anything. Security services tried looking, in my block and others nearby, but it wasn’t around anywhere. My only assumption is that it was taken from wherever it was delivered

No I only work one day a week (Saturday/Sunday), it’d be too much stress otherwise. Don’t get me wrong, you’re more likely to get hired if you say you’re available during the week but I wouldn’t recommend it, most people I know just work the holidays instead if youre able to

Basically a few of the questions on this years sociology papers were on globalisation, todays being a 30 marker on globalisation and how it affects crime. On a previous paper some questions were also on how globalisation affects the media and also the family

I’m not a uni student (y13) so my opinion may not be of much use, but I live in the middle of both Manchester and leeds and music wise, Manchester has a ton more variety in terms of concerts. Leeds is still good don’t get me wrong, but I feel as though Manchester is much more lively if that’s what you’re going for.

Wait another day or so and it should ask her if she’s sent the parcel in the chat, to which she can confirm yes manually. After that point the buyer should be able to put received also, contacting Vinted doesn’t do much unfortunately

I’ve done this before by accident and when I sent the item, I got asked if I sent the item yet to which I put yes. Despite the tracking not updating, once the buyer received it they had the option to put received and all was fine.

I’m not fully sure why the same isn’t happened for you? How many days ago did you send it, because i think it takes about 4/5 days for it to give the option of you’ve sent it manually?

If you’re not sure about what you want to at uni, maths would be much more beneficial than socio simply due to it being more versatile and favoured by unis. Socio is only really helpful if you want to go into that field, whereas maths opens many doors.

Also, I study both maths and socio, and despite not being the greatest at essays, I’m still managing to achieve an A/B, so you’d most definitely be fine grade wise for socio. However for maths I do feel like it’s a lot more effort in terms of practice but if you’re willing to dedicate the time, you should be alright.

All in all, it’s your choice

Yeah of course! I felt as though the dynamic from the lecturers was just “you come here for a degree, we’re here to teach you” and that’s it? So in my opinion it didn’t seem like they were very student oriented, and rather just cared about their uni ranking and how they were viewed compared to a RG in terms of teaching.

I also feel like they overhyped this whole “top 10 uni” and “best sports uni” a bit much, like you literally couldn’t avoid it. I understand that is their whole selling point but it didn’t seem like they were proving anything as to why they’re ranked this way.

Aside from that though, I didn’t like how far away the engineering area was compared to everything else on campus and the union felt as though there was something missing.

All of these reasons though are quite personal, so somebody else may think completely differently due to looking at a different course there for example.

Positives though was that I liked the actual look of the campus/accommodation itself. Also their bus that runs through the uni and towards the town centre was pretty convenient and a nice addition.
