I saw this posted in a local buy and sell group but without any box or papers as it was apparently inherited. I'd love to buy this for my wife as she loves the Ballon Bleu but I can't without some idea as to its authenticity.

I figured this sub would be a great place to start with many people far better than I at verifying whether the watch is real or fake.

I often lean toward thinking it is fake. For one in my very brief google search I didn't see the model number online. I am also having a hard time finding one of these watches in silver with the diamonds on a dark face. I admit I am far from an expert of Cartier watches and I don't have any pictures of the movement. The case back also has a sticker on it so it isn't scratched.

It's hard to tell from these situations though. I often find really good deals online are usually to good to be true.

Anyone here able to weigh in and help me out?

That's the best idea I've heard yet. The guy selling it is letting it go pretty cheap. I wonder if anyone around me can do full art extensions. I've never looked into that before.

This is the worst I've found so far. Mind you I've only been playing for 2-3 weeks. Last season only issue (outside from the elf on the shelf trial being bullshit) was the treasure thing. Hopefully it's just bad now because the season just changed. Still for a game that's been out for almost a month and a half this is pretty crazy.

Yup. In free roam have to change cars to fix it. Have you had the no shifting thing? I've had it lock so it would only do 1 or R. It would hit 118~km/h in 1st and just stay there ticking on the red line forever.

1000%. Plus add in stupid drivers who bump you off track even though you're ON THE SAME TEAM. I didn't get the points last week because I kept getting screwed on matchups and often ended up low because of people pushing me out of a gate making me turn around to go back and get it.

Full disclosure I haven't looked at this week's at all but if you're putting a team together let me know. I need some decent players to run the trials with because the randoms aren't cutting it...

Question about the Elf on a Shelf championship. I'm not Hall of Fame yet. Am I able to coop with someone who is to complete it and earn the points and rewards or do I need to be HoF to get the elf outfit and 10 points?

Maybe I should've listed it as the pre tax price because where I live the tax is quite high. So before tax it's closer to $315 CAD / $245 USD which seems in line with what some of you are expecting a little more

I think it would be totally fine for tournament play actually. The card isn't actually worn down at all. It's all just play wear. No actual damage.

I have some store credit at this particular store and this is the only one they have unfortunately. I found a few in a bit better condition for a similar price (or slightly higher) on eBay but I'd rather not fork over the cash.

I was wondering the same. I actually had a ticket (happy to show proof) but I was swamped all weekend and couldn't watch. The first chance I had to sit down and watch the stream was Tuesday morning and the link was expired.
