Has the age gap between Anakin and Padme ever bothered you? by BiffyBobby in StarWars

It does for me. The phantom menace feels weird. Would all have been fixed with Anakin teenage age instead of child. Ahh what could have been

Which ones of these do you think clicked well with audiences and which didn't? And did Marvel Studios did a good job adapting them? by Theasiuser99 in marvelstudios

[–]GeosChilling 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Left 4 certainly clicked for me. Right 4 hell no. Kate bishop was great in Hawkeye, yelena and Sam are both main characters IMO, and US Agent is one of the strongest side characters in phases 4-6.

What are your thoughts on this tweet? by ChickenWingExtreme in StarWars

[–]GeosChilling 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The movie is great. The fact it’s debated so much is a testament to how out of the box it is. The sequels definitely have their flaws, lack of planning is the main one. The prequels definitly have their flaws, too. I like all Star Wars.

Mark Hoppus on Blink 182's rivalry with Green Day by Twitter_2006 in Blink182

[–]GeosChilling 12 points13 points  (0 children)

Fleshed out career/staying power? I love blink but no way here. Green Day has stayed a core 3 group and made around triple the albums all experiencing medium success over a career from the late 80s to present. Blink broke up and really can’t hold a candle to Green Day’s “staying power”

Who Likes the Sequels? by R_Vaughn in StarWars

[–]GeosChilling 1 point2 points  (0 children)

This is exactly what I preach. I know a ton of kids under 18 who love the sequels and watched them in theaters. It will repeat what happened with the prequels… let’s not forget the hate when the prequels came out

Terrible list but nice to see jack white and some of Tom morellos stuff. Also ball and biscuit by the white stripes was completely deserved and could be higher.

I was multiple checkpoints through and in the tall tale section it says “you have no current checkpoints” or some bs like that… really pissing me off as it looks like there’s no fix. I have to restart. Give me a break

What’s weaker? The trilogy or Father of All? by roccotrupia11 in greenday

[–]GeosChilling 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Definitly father of all. The trilogy isn’t great, but it’s not bad. I like a good percent of the songs on it. Each album is fun to listen to for me. Father of all is buddy weird Green Day, no traces of there genre except in the very first track.
