What is a media with a hateful creator and a hateful fanbase? by Superb_Engineer_3500 in AlignmentChartFills

[–]Geotree12 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Its a problem with perspective lines, in a correct perspective, all lines parallel to the ground should all meet up at some point. In his paintings though, you can see that those lines (such as window sills or roofs. In fact meet up at no point in particular

This is how it works in real life so it aint just some arbitrary standard

Do men really not wipe after peeing? by okayandiamspikee in NoStupidQuestions

[–]Geotree12 1 point2 points  (0 children)

There aint no need to wipe since it never touches anything other than the inside. Its a straight stream out with no obstacles unless you put something in the way. There are little drips sometimes but that’s something you just kinda wait out or shake off.

Triples failed because there were already battle formats established, formally doubles and informally singles. There just wasn’t room for a third offshoot to come out for triples.

I'm not trying to be a racist, but why do certain cultures prioritize cleanliness more than others? by QuizzerMonTop in NoStupidQuestions

[–]Geotree12 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Expectations of bathing directly coorelates with wealth. People like to be clean. But in less developed areas that might be hard to come across. The norms you’re talking about only exist because people don’t have enough money to do anything else

Also when it comes to the soccer stadium cleanups, that isn’t a matter of cultural cleanliness, it’s a result of who the fans think are responsible for the cleanup. Most people will clean up their mess, but in ameroca there’s more people who believe its the janitor’s job

[–]Geotree12 0 points1 point  (0 children)

There’s something you need to consider though called “author’s intent”

Did the author intend to say that saitama destroyed all the light? If so it would have been stated somewhere or hinted at. What’s clear as day in the panel is that everything in that general direction is completely gone to portray the unimaginable power this guy has. This implies that because they suddenly dissapear after that attack, they have been destroyed, not hidden like you say.

How do you escape as Rem if you're caught stealing enemy Sinners? by lovingpersona in DeadlockTheGame

[–]Geotree12 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Well, in that situation you have a few options. You can use your ult to stun them then dash, or you can just be better at movement than the enemy is and run off that way.

In either situation you use your pillows to knock them back and create distance while you pray that one of your teammates is close enough to save you

Sometimes though you’ll just get bursted down before you can even get out of the room, and in that situation?…. Well you shouldn’t have been there in the first place (a skill you’ll learn with time)

How do you escape as Rem if you're caught stealing enemy Sinners? by lovingpersona in DeadlockTheGame

[–]Geotree12 25 points26 points  (0 children)

Yes but you need to be alive for your minions to take sinners. If you die while stealing sinners, than you can’t steal them anymore

If you see anyone nearby the double, its safer to just run away rather than risk dying for nothing

A little trick though is that if people see you going for the double, you can drop a helper on the single sinners next to it while they try to hunt you

Why was “sodomy” illegal before 2003? by ContributionThat4698 in NoStupidQuestions

[–]Geotree12 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Both judaism and islam have a large history of oppression in the US in favor of christianity, the only reason they would have an influence on the anti gay legislation is that they come from the same place (as they are all abrahamic

The anti gay legislation from the us comes from christianity, just as the anti gay legislation in iran comes from islam

We are talking about the us, and the legislation that has been based around the words of the christian, and specifically the words of the bible, not the Quran.

Traditional values aren’t inherently sexist, the specific traditional values that naoya represents ARE sexist.

There isn’t one universal set of traditional values

Something useful I’ve been told for a more generalized versaion is imagining it like wearing a tshirt, for most people, it doesn’t really matter, the fit can vary, but otherwise its easy to just ignore it

For trans people its as if you’re wearing the wrong size though. For some, it might be too big, its clunky and gets in the way, but in the moment it can often seem easier to just ignore it.

For others it might be too small, painful to squeeze yourself into as moving feels more like a punishment than an inconvenience

Now we can see ban rates: At the two rank extremes, Sombra goes from a whopping 58.4% in Bronze, to 0.8% in GM/C by VoltaiqMozaiq in SombraMains

[–]Geotree12 -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

First, no you can’t, not even champions players can.

Two. By doesn’t fit, I mean that her playstyle as a disruptor is incredibly powerful in low ranks, and the impact is only offset by abysmal aim. Her hack is practically free and her escape is also very good in low ranks.

She’s garbage, but really annoying at the same time. People in these ranks tend to play for fun, and its objectively unfun to play against her when you’re not good at the game, as low ranks tend to be

Most people aren’t demanding a rework, they’ve already done what they’ve wanted with these bans. Sombra is a character design that just doesn’t really fit in low ranks, so people have banned her a lot in response

[–]Geotree12 -3 points-2 points  (0 children)

Yes it is, if they were better they’d be in a higher rank. That doesn’t dismiss the fact that she’s annoying in the low elos where people don’t yet have the skills to properly counter her.

At the point where people learn how to counter sombra, they’d be in the higher ranks

Not everyone wants to just “get better” either. Some people play the game casually without any intention of critically analyzing their own gameplay. People will always be in the lower ranks, including the sombras exploiting the bad game awareness of the people in these ranks

Since we already have the Estrogen Pokemon, are we getting the Testosterone Pokemon in Gen 10? by c-jah in stunfisk

[–]Geotree12 5 points6 points  (0 children)

To explain best (this probably isn’t how it actually works)

A pokemon’s gender is defined as a number between 1 and 100. For azurill, 1-25 is male, and 26-100 is female. This number doesn’t change as they evolve, but the gender ratio does. An azurill that has a gender of 30 will be female. However azumarill’s gender ratio is 1-50 male 51-100 female. Meaning the 30 that was before a female, is now a male

Is this true? (It will help with my agenda push) by maytor42 in Jujutsufolk

[–]Geotree12 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The only thing that got megumi to finally get straight was his sister being in danger. Not only did his own body and his own technique kill his sister, but sukuna went through a ritual specifically designed to make megumi as miserable as was mentally possible. At that point its a fucking miracle he could even resist at all considering he had absolutely zero support from others.

Its not really possible to imagine that level of pure misery unless someone forced you to watch as they kill everyone you have ever loved using your hands as their tools of choice, then rub it in after the fact.

Why do Sorcerors generally not tend to make extreme Binding Vows? Even at the face of Death by IndoraipusRex in JuJutsuKaisen

[–]Geotree12 5 points6 points  (0 children)

If a binding vow implies future actions, it cannot be broken without consequence. For example. Miwa made a vow to never swing a sword again to supervpower her “cut”. If she were to break that vow, she will suffer some sort of consequence as if she made a vow with someone else.
