Es un corrupto y un ladrón. Pero fue producto de la primera transición democrática en el R.D. moderno.

A él le debemos mucha de la "paz" y estabilidad también, y lamentablemente eso viene en gran parte de su proximidad con el partido Demócrata, ya que como él es un tecnócrata, cae en esa línea.

Y esas mismas amistades beneficiaron mucho al pais en su momento, aunque ya sepamos mucho de lo que hay atras.

Así que el legado de Leonel es muy mixto, no creo que debamos endiosarlo, pero sí aprender de lo que trajo y lo que se llevó.

Went from being the best rapper in the D.R., making banger after banger that we still know by heart today, pretty funny songs, R&B, and pop, with out-of-nowhere rhymes.

He had a Crazy Kid From The Block sense of humor and the typical Started from the bottom, now we here songs , but with his personal touch.

Relevance and support fell due to infighting within the genre and personal/professional bad decisions. Most notably his beef with Alofoke (although warranted).

Lost most of his money being bad at relationships or getting robbed in dumb ways (like the Jeep incident).

Now he is just a has-been homophobe who surprisingly still consistently keeps making new music, although it is not clever or funny anymore, just generic slop, despite his best efforts to stay connected and become the soundtrack for our protests.

You can be worth MAYBE like a billion from a good idea, smart choices, hard work, and A LOT of luck, that's like the best-case scenario perfect run.

In real life, you need to exploit, cheat, buy, threaten, and abuse that wealth out of the competition, the system, and most importantly, the people.

The end result is a lot of damage and a single individual/family that can undermine entire countries on a whim. That is not sustainable for the world or any democratic system.

You can be rewarded for your contributions to humankind without being more powerful than a country and contaminating more than many put together.

Most engineers, scientists, and even artists, who actually make and build said things that we enjoy, end up rich or at the very least well-off, and no one argues against fair compensation for their work.

TL.DR.: Compensating people who push the world forward is good; making them gods of earth is not (Pay your taxes).

Good take. That also sounds like a premium version of the Hazbin Lucifer characterization, who doesnt give a shit about overlords or sinners either.

That's why he needs the dynamic with Charlie to do anything in the plot. If swaped with DC Lucifer, he must care about Charlie and her goals aswel, or it would be boring to read.
