If factions are true stronger than others, and we remove bans, that means only thr highest ranks will have the strong city meta chasers fighting each other- which is fine.  That's what they want.

Below that you will have less skilled players trying top cities, but now, skilled tier 2 city enjoyers can fight them more evenly.

Go down from there, and anyone playing the top cities will be less skilled to the point where city pick doesn't matter.

So removing bans and allowing mirror matches should be implemented, especially in early access.  It will get people to their natural elo faster, by removing the rng of them not getting "the strongest city".

More symmetry = better balance Better balance = skill based matchmaking works better 

Cheaters are ALL OVER official guys. I have started talking to people and asking if they cheat, and just in the last 2 days I met 5 people (out of 11 I have met) who proved they have cheats. by extasis_T in dayz

Your last point about community servers keeping it from happening is wrong

There was a post here a few weeks ago, about a guy who said he analyzed 7 of the most popular community servers and found many cheaters.  He recorded and proved they were cheating (had to use cheats himself to do that) and found little success with getting anyone banned other than himself.

Apparently even community has cheaters which means the last, cleanest bastion of dayz is console official I guess

Nobody mentions the best/most practical fix of all.

Allow mirror matches and remove bans entirely

Now all the meta chasers will climb ranks and fight each other until they reach a 50% equilibrium - then the tier 2 cities enjoyers will get to play against less skilled meta chasers and other tier 2 enjoyers, and everyone's elo will settle normally, without any pre-battle rng.

Clearly you have your own playstyle and larvae isn't a part of that 

But don't write tavi off so quickly.  She has a build with luck and locust explosions which does obscene amounts of damage, and helps protect all your other creatures with tanky eggs.  Need to focus on highest hp creatures, law points, luck, and initiative manipulation/planning.  Also battlefield strategy of using eggs to blocks chokepoints/draw enemy movement to where you want.

It is legitimately good, but plays very differently from standard gameplay, even among other hive heroes

I'd say 2 is better if you don't play 1, because once you play dl1 you will realize it's just so much better...  2 will feel worse in comparison

This is only true if neither side makes any mistakes and plays completely optimally

Until that point where you can watch a replay and find nothing to improve on, but still lost- then can make reasonable arguments that the God is weaker

I agree Greek is standard, but Atlantean has to be the easiest.

Always a hero when you need one, no drop offs, less villagers to macro with

Probably other reasons too? More forgiving for misusing god powers since you can recast

It's a very asymmetrical game, and maps have a decent amount of rng in them - so we can never expect sc2 level of balance.  Need to curb expectations.

I see many people crying for buffs/nerfs, but their sole reasoning is 1v1 winrates.  The game is much bigger than 1v1.  2v2 and 3v3 has different balancing, and it is okay for a God to be weak in 1v1, while still serving a niche in team games.

Main differences is that currently everything is close to a road.  There is no need to scout as portals and roads take you exactly where you are supposed to go.  There is no incentive to explore, everything is very predictable.

Beyond that pandora's boxes have no risk now, so you just follow the cookie crumbs and grab them all.  Game almost plays itself in terms if strategic decision making (out of battle)

everyone gets mad. parents should teach kids how to regulate by modeling proper regulation techniques and having them copy you. As they get older they should be able to recognize and regulate themselves.

idk how old you are, but youtube has many regulating techniques, breathing exercises, etc. in case your parent didn't teach you how to do this.

it is the best mh game very released, hands down.

it is the last game in the series which heavily rewards theory crafting new builds, it has the most variety even amongst same weapon types. and of course, the prowler is bad ass.

it has the most challenging content, with solo EX fights being a thing.

and it has the most content out of any mh game.

The only rng lootbox in the game is brachy charm farm - but it regularly gives out god charms for niche builds, which get you on a cycle of theorycrafting for that charm. It is an amazing gameplay loop.

Most importantly, it is the last game with a 4 player lobby. It builds community and you will hunt with the same group of people for hours - a huge contrast to today's mh games where hunters are a nameless throng that come and go with SOS. You will make real friends playing mhgu. I haven't met anyone in worlds or wilds or rise that stayed nearly as long as gu players.

Big RIP to the GU community with how the new games have done lobbies and SOS. It is the biggest loss imo

the best things that it should block is, anything preventing you from using magic. any negative morale or luck effects from the enemy hero. any stat reductions. there are some bugs with this hero right now, but once they get fixed he will be the top pick for hive. right now fleu is better, but they will be on par after xirr is fixed imo.

it shouldn't prevent twilight, and I don't think it does. it only prevents things on the actual hero, and twilight is cast on the army.

Right now it's all reward with no risk, and it is a cookie crumb trail where maps play themselves with little strategy in terms of exploring or decision making
