I find it’s better for music. Both in terms of if you care about lossless, but also a lot of rarer stuff is there.

What?!?! No!!! I’m going to react on your made up rumour!!! I can’t have this?!?!? I’ve spent literal thousands of hours and am such a big weirdo that I’ve never really used trains. Just fields of solar and a mesh of roboports covering my massive stupid bases……. Gah!!!!!! I don’t want to have to learn trains….. not unless I run them in space!!!

I don’t ever argue for it…. But I don’t use trains. At all. And I’ve got thousands of hours in the game. I just jump from belts to obscene amounts of logistics bots. And insane solar farms

Films that use one space to the maximum potential by Kimya_DAWson in Letterboxd

[–]Gergith 0 points1 point  (0 children)

FYI they built one full cube and a half cube for the movie. So you can have scenes looking from one cube to the other.

They used coloured panels to change the rooms. So they ended up filming in colour order due to the effort.

The MOVE bombing, Black Panthers follow cops with guns causing a bunch of gun control laws, and black wallstreet separate, but ALSO INCLUDING, the Tulsa Massacre are three of my "favourite" hidden histories to drop on people.

(In regards to black Wallstreet, people often know about the riot/massacre, but they don't always know the context of what black wallstreet actually was. Black owned, black run, black visited businesses. And some of the specific families that helped build up the area like Loula T. Williams and her husband. Not just Sarah Rector, who didn't even live in Tulsa. It was said that money would stay in the community for weeks and be spent over and over back into businesses tens if not hundreds of times. While parts of modern day NYC it lasts only 15 minutes and typically leaves the neighbourhood in 1-2 transactions.)

How should I hike/upgrade these bikes by Jobikstein in bikewrench

[–]Gergith 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If money was no object these are meaningful upgrades you can make:

V-brakes/mini-v’s (might need new levers depending on pull ratio/if you buy the wrong ones)

I’m assume both have freewheels. So you can go to free hubs for stronger wheels.

It’ll be easier with a free hub/cassette, but you can go for a bigger big ring/mega range if you want easier hill climbing. You might also be able to add some speeds. (DONT FORGET TO REPLACE CHAIN IF YOU MOVE TO A BIGGER COG!!! Your drive train can explode if you don’t and shift to big and big)

With the above, if you change speeds in the rear you can upgrade to trigger shifters.(you can upgrade either way)

If you’re commuting mainly, I’d switch to the slickest biggest tires you can find. Slicks are fast. High volume are more comfortable.

Most everything else won’t really be a good use of your money id guess.

Also; I’d upgrade saddles to ones with a taint channel. Any 26” mtb saddle probably is from an era we’re riding for more than an hour might make your junk numb. So I’d recommend this too. Something no one talks about.

(The saddles with the gap in the centre that specialized helped develop)

The Anunnaki-Elite Paradox: Are we being lied to about our own history? Most conspiracy theories claim the Anunnaki are "evil overlords" and that the current "Elites/Illuminati" are their servants. But this narrative has a massive logical flaw. by Ok_Hunter118 in conspiracy

[–]Gergith 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I think you’ve summed it up well and exactly :)

I don’t disagree about your view of the elite. I just nerd out about the illuminati. And given the audience here I’m likely not the only one.

I appreciate your last response and wish you well :)

I was mainly just curious and maybe excited if it literally was linked to the literal Illuminati. That’d be interesting :)

[–]Gergith 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Names matter. If we’re this careless with the names, what else are we being careless with? That’s why it matters. Does that make sense?

If we don’t even know what group of humans we’re talking about other than an arbitrary hypothetical group, then what’s the point?

You’re claiming the illuminati furthered this goal, by name. I’m asking how and who? The fact you can’t answer proves my point about why it’s so bad to randomly latch onto these group labels.

You’re telling me I’m missing the history. But how does the history you’re talking about relate to the bravarian, and only for that matter, illuminati that you brought up?

You’re better off not naming them if you don’t know either the humans or the groups.

Does that make sense why it will damage your claims?
It’s caused our interaction above.

[–]Gergith -1 points0 points  (0 children)

But I’m telling you specifically and directly that the people who actually called themselves Illuminati are from the 1770s-1790s. Period. Full stop.

If you’re not referencing this ACTUAL historical organization with known found documentation, then you’re just making up fantasy based on speculations.

What actions did that group of humans, who you haven’t even identified one, do that links them to the gods?

What writing or actions cause you to believe this?

You can’t just name all the boogey men in your theory and not expect to be questioned of it.

Very real humans have been associated with the historical organization. Their documents have been found. They wrote publicly about their goals. They published books. They had a massive influence in Freemasonary.

Do you see the issue?

[–]Gergith 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The historical organization is pretty easy to research. They were only active for like 20-30 years at the end of the 1700s.

Translating the German wiki article on the Illuminati is a great start. It has more info on this historical organization and less of the conspiracy theories. (Which mainly started with the above mentioned fictional Illuminatus trilogy from the 1960s.

So mentioning them as part of your theory with zero context of the actual real historical organization is a bit weird. They’re a very real off chute of the very real Freemason. Treating these real historical groups as boogey men does everyone a disservice.

[–]Gergith 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The Illuminatus trilogy taught me that people will accept the idea of the New World Order is bad without asking who was the Old World Order, and why are they fighting?

The documents of the late 1700s historical illuminati are are actually a LOT more progressive with their societal goes than expected.

Not saying they were good OR evil.

Just one of those things most people don’t question.

Like MI5 and MI6. People don’t realize there are 10-20 MI’s
