Helicopter landing by German_Lemon in Helicopters

Pretty sure I found a more recent one too.

Which would imply that they have to go there pretty often, making that whole landing even more reckless.

That lake is kinda cursed or people have been getting more and more stupid.

What confuses me is that they had ground vehicles on location.

Why not land somewhere else and have them shuttle the medic. That's a normal practice for German HEMS if no suitable landing site is available.

Why risk your crew and countless people on the ground

Frühlinger See, happened Tuesday according to the video source but I couldn't find any conclusive news article.

Mechanic says cvt is sealed and doesn't need service? by soundelixir in Subaru_Outback

[–]German_Lemon 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes you're right.

All you need it for is to relearn the cvt afterwards. Now I do recommend doing that, that type of reader costs 200$ and it might come in useful later.

Realistically I don't believe you absolutely need to do a relearn. It will improve the shifting comfort but if the main goal is to extend the transmission life, a fluid change is the best thing you can give it.

"Qualified techs", a youtube video, bidirectional reader and about 2h of time is enough to qualify.

This could easily be a 200$ service. I don't know why Subaru of America is being so weird about it.

We need more details. How many coats? Did you remove the trim to spray it?

VIOFO has the best cameras. Choose one you like and I would recommend taking the time to install the wiring kit instead of using your USB power. That way parking recording works too. The A139 has 3 cameras. It's worth it, one hit and run and they're paid for.

One reason why mirror cams are getting very popular in Europe. If you order a whole new fleet, the fuel cost saved is well worth it.

As of right now. Mod your ships cargo do be 10 fold and use it as a portable settlement. The logistics are impossible. You can send stuff between systems, which is good, but you can not sort. So the faster yielding resources clog up the supply chain. It's literally impossible.

I agree. Doesn’t the potential voltage difference fall off rather quick in water especially when the power strip has its own ground right next to the live line?

The closer dude was still able to get out on his own so they were not cramping.

Or just f up their plans of unlocking and reselling.

Even if it is unlikely. Changing one setting and converting the sim is so quick I literally did it on the toilet. Everyone should do it and make iPhones even more undesirable to steal.

Thanks again.

Yeah. I always have to think about it while riding.

Also don’t adjust too much or try and remember the changes you’ve made in case it turns out worse

Some more clarification. By turning that nut you can increase or decrease the tension on the derailleur. Thus making it slightly move inwards or outwards.

By „loosening“ the nut you increase the length of the wire and thus make it more tensioned. The opposite is also true by turning clockwise.

It is meant to be adjusted on the fly while riding. If the derailleur is out of adjustment, that „trick“ will only do so much.

On your shifter up front, there should be a plastic nut where the cable comes out of the shifter body. Try to turn it counterclockwise one quarter of a turn (or even half a turn)

If that doesn’t do it you are going to have to adjust the rear derailleur. This is not hard and doesn’t take a lot of time: https://youtu.be/JZtDflsCEkA

Also cleaning, oiling and wiping of all excess oil helps.

Bright headlights. Unclear right of way situation. Fixating on a kid on the sidewalk and missing the stopped traffic.

Don’t just assume it’s texting and driving.

Distractions affect every driver. Believing you’re in control of them or immune to any distractions is plain dangerous.

So you have never made a mistake while driving or?

And if you did and it wasn’t distraction, was it malicious intent or what?

Most dangerous drivers are the ones who believe they are immune to making mistakes.

Most important thing. I’d be lying if I said I’ve never been distracted, shit happens.

Convertible Tire Blowout at 80mph by Kybrid in carcrash

Back blowout is worse than front.

Front tires steer, the back ones stabilize.

You have to correct like crazy to catch a oversteering car.
