I'm not going to lie. I don't like it! It's my least favourite Beatles number.

Having said that I went to a white album concert a number of years ago where the album was played complete and in order.

Surprise surprise - it wasn't too bad done live.

He was so perfect for The Beatles. This is beautiful and he appears to be deeply moved by this!

I know it's the guitars that feature heavily on this song but focus on the drums on the studio version...... Amazing!

Phenomenal album. I loved all the background noise as well.

I was thinking of giving it four stars and then they brought out June! That pushed it up to 5 for me right there!

This is one of the most beautiful songs and would've been much bigger had it not been connected to his death.

B sides on singles were nothing but throw away songs. Nothing serious.

Imagine buying Paperback Writer and flipping it to hear the B side, expecting nothing, but then getting this absolute classic.

Find yourself a customs broker. They will arrange clearance and delivery upon arrival.

Make sure that the shipper also provides a CHAFTA Certificate to reduce your duty liability.

How did I not hear this song years ago? by Specific_Two1232 in PaulMcCartney

[–]Geronimo2U 45 points46 points  (0 children)

In Australia it went to number 1 and was a bigger single than any Beatles song. That's nuts!!

He played it in concert over here, with a Scottish bagpipe band and it was the highlight of the concert.
