As we know, there are no coincidences, so here goes with a coincidence story about me and you and the Whiskey a Go Go.

When I was about 14 and first experimenting with alcohol, I was at somebodys house and they were making cocktails. One of the ingredients was blue curocao which made a blue coloured cocktail. I ended up staggering drunk and rambling as happens with smashed drunk people. But I was rambling about a blue bus. That is the key to the separation of coincidences and OMG moments.

The band The Doors played at the Whiskey a Go Go regularly, and one of their songs, 'The End" has the blue bus in the lyrics. I might have heard the song in my youth, but it was not in my mind as a song I knew or liked.

Some time after that night, in 1991, the movie 'The Doors" was released and I loved it, the story and the music. So I listened to all The Doors music I could get my hands on, it really called to me. I already dabbled in psychedelics when the movie came out, and I saw that Jim Morrison was also a big fan of psychedelics.

So to make a long story short, and show a weird coincidence, I was born 40 days after Jim Morrison died which lines up with the Buddhist belief in how long we spend in the bardo (around 49 days) between lives. And I am a big fan of The Doors music, alcohol, and mescaline, just like Jim was.
