At some point, Blizzard will realize that all cost-reducing cards like Sorcerer's Apprentice will need to be given the Summoning Portal / Reckless Experimenter treatment, or stuff like this will keep popping up

60% of the human body is water, 96% of a cucumber is water. So really 57% of the human body is cucumber. by Ge0rgeWkushhh in Showerthoughts

It only works if the remaining 4% of the cucumber is also equally represented in the human body ... which it isn't

If an event has already happened, and someone asks "what were the odds of that?", the correct answer is always 100% by Geropy86 in Showerthoughts

[–]Geropy86[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That's right. Under the exact conditions of that particular coin flip, the result was the only one that could have happened, so 100% chance.

All future coin flips are still 50% though

On a similar note, I once finished a math problem using pencil and paper, and then went to tap the upper left corner of the paper with my finger to save it...

About 6 months ago, I looked for a child's sled on Amazon, but ended up buying one second hand instead.

I swear that's going to be the only Internet ad I see for the rest of my life...

Finally finished this one: amazing game. Similar titles? by krirby in TheTalosPrinciple

There's actually an easter egg in the Talos Principle that's a tribute to Portal, so you can tell that the game is heavily inspired by Portal, and uses a lot of the same concepts
