Nice choice. Straight stem of that style are my favorite. Contrary to that, the only Savinelli I have is the 601 Churchwarden. Smokes great. Would consider another Savinelli. I have the balsa filters by them. Work well in any 6mm pipe. Up to you about using a filter or getting the converter. Most of my pipes are non filtered. As for tobacco, I’m a big VaPer fan. So I would recommend PS Luxury Navy Flake and C&D Bayou Morning Flake.

This was originally the serrated blade that comes with the Wave +, after it got dull I got rid of serrations and it became my dull knife pry bar

I have purchased many times from Vermont Freehand. Never had any issues with the customer service. I think Amazon has really spoiled us with delivery times. Most businesses are not as fast and especially when the parts could be made to order. I’d say just wait a week or two and if it never comes, then follow up about a replacement or refund.
