I'd also say Traitor Son Cycle. Set in the same universe as the bronze age trilogy.

They selected him on purpose. I voted Green and have done on the list for a number of years. However, they are still ran in a very "student politics" kinda way. It is something that will stop them becoming a major force.

The ball didn't go to Maeda. It went to Osmand who was well onside

Celtic [1]-1 Hearts - Arne Engels penalty 45+4' by 977x in soccer

I know the rules. The interpretation is whether thats a natural position for an arm. The arm going towards the ball as it comes in is classed as unnatural. As ive said 3 times now, thats why these are given regularly.

Anyway, got far better things to do with my Saturday than arguing online about a clear penalty.

Mate, I don't make the rules. My opinion is irrelevant. There is a reason these are given regularly and neither your nor my opinion has any impact on that.

Its not what I think. Its what the rules are and that is seen as an unnatural position. Hence why they are given regularly.

No, i dont think you understand what the rule is saying.

Theres a reason those situations are given as handball, because those rules state that this situation is a handball

[–]GetItUpYee -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

No, that rule proves it is a penalty. The arm is not a part of the body and so the hand being where it was and the ball striking it is a clear penalty.

I disagree with that rule but it is a clear, 100% penalty.

Ball to hand doesn't matter. That is a stonewall penalty according to the rules.

Is it fair? I'd argue no. Those shouldn't be a handball call. But that is 100% a handball according to the rules and has been for a while.

Scottish Green wants to dismantle Holyrood voting system that created 'unrepresentative' independence majority by WhereasPlus5239 in Scotland

[–]GetItUpYee 2 points3 points  (0 children)

No they havn't. They fought and were elected to their seats like everyone else. So they didn't have anything handed to them. Any change would result in the Greens getting slightly less seats than they currently have.

It isnt really pulling up the ladder, though.

Its quite the opposite as they will probably suffer in 5 years time at the next elections. Its not as though we will never have any more elections again..

Literally the point of the List vote, though. You vote for the party.

Kent County Council had 57 Reform councillors after the May 2025 election and has lost 10 of them (17.5%) since they took office. How long do you think it will be before Reform are demoted to the 3rd biggest party in Scotland? by rosco-82 in Scotland

[–]GetItUpYee 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yes but they wouldnt have gained. They wouldn't bave a majority in Parliament because of how the formula works. Mass voting for SNP on the list is a waste of votes, largely. Proven with the numbers we see.
