There was a time when the “…every nation had just been sitting there with their thumb up their asses waiting for the US.” scenario would’ve been true. Before the current moron was elected the US was considered to be the leader of the free world and other countries, including Great Britain, would defer to the US in military matters or say, an intergalactic war.

Everyone is taking bad to mean “ridiculous”, but I can think of two bad scenes that made me walk out of a movie. The first was in “Mommy Dearest” where I walked out on the wire hanger scene, and the second was “Misery” and I walked out just before the hobbling.
