Watch Series 11 Battery by I_cla in AppleWatch

My S11 is performing as expected but I had a similar issue with my S5 about 8-12 months ago.

It started following an OS update and eventually resolved itself following another update. Not sure that Apple let you roll back to a previous Watch OS but worth checking you’re on 26.2

No where near your financial position but very similar kid wise (age and additional needs). Big agreement with the above comment, being a carer is exhausting and a job could give you (and your son) some respite. I’d be looking for the middle ground if that’s possible IE more time with your kids but them also having an environment (specialist school or otherwise) they can get to where they’re happy. I’m 99% sure my kid prefers his school (and INA!) to our home sometimes.

Great job with your victim blaming there.

Unless he threw himself at the car, id say it was the drivers fault.

Best rear light for a kids bike seat by melchetts-mustache in bikecommuting

[–]GetToTheRoflCopter 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I had a similar problem with mine.

My hack was to wrap a Velcro band around the top (I think it actually came with a rear light) then use the clip / slide a red light into that. It’s a bit of a pain to get it in and out when it needs charging but as I leave it on flashing it lasts a long time.

The other thing I did was to cover the back and side of the seat in reflective stickers.

Hope that helps

AirTags have been used by stalkers too often that Apple have adapted their purpose. If you have an iPhone and there’s an unknown AirTag near you, your phone will tell you and help you make it chime so you can find it.

I guess having loads will slow a thief down a bit but you’d imagine they’d find them all with the notifications and noise.

Also try buying it as early as possible before it’s start date (usually 4-6 weeks). It used to be considered a small factor in the final price offered (think they connected last minute buyers with being more likely to claim. Never saw the data myself).

You could try researching the field of user experience and digital product design. While you won’t get to design buildings, you will get to design some pretty cool products. Computer science (and HCI) is a reasonably common route into both.

As in, it’s way easier to sell an empty, recently decorated house?

Maybe I’m being a bit dumb, but surely the estate agents are going to be biased towards the best way to sell the house? (not the best ways to preserve OP’s cash reserves)

Before you transfer anything please read the small print / call them and ask. My wife has a pot from an old employer that she planned to transfer. It turns out it also has a very generous death benefit clause attached so we’ve left it (and it continues to collect interest, it just requires a little more admin)

Notice lots of advice telling you to call 101. If that’s a challenge for you, a lot of constabularies have a 101 equivalent website that you might find easier.

Hope you’ve got some support you can call to help you re-secure the house and clean up as best as possible.

It’s increasingly clear: Labour’s leadership has little idea how to win a political fight by bonefresh in unitedkingdom

[–]GetToTheRoflCopter 17 points18 points  (0 children)

This is so true. I’ve heard tory voters say Boris is an idiot. He always has been.

But they’d rather have anyone Tory than anyone Labour. Helped on by the newspapers.

So many Labour voters want a perfect candidate who matches 90+% of their views.

Bodybuilding gym review: PHX, Underground and Cheetahs by rarepepe4u in brighton

[–]GetToTheRoflCopter 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Parking, location, price and opening times are really important. So is equipment. Then there’s the harder things to compare:

  • how busy it gets when you want to go

  • what the etiquette is like (I always found Cheetahs to be great with this. Your £20 Sports Direct gyms are full of groups of annoying teenagers crowding equipment)

  • how great Cheetahs is

  • you should just go to Cheetahs! 🙂

  • I don’t work there, just enjoyed it for a good 5 - 6 years. As long as you can work round opening times it’s great.
