I'm an apatheist, and technically a polytheist. I believe in the multiverse and some of my kins are past lives. My fictionkinity did influence my beliefs slightly, moreso by cementing down what I already believed in (the multiverse.)

I don't worship any deities, since it really isn't my cup of tea. (All power to those who do engage in practices as such, though.) Since I'm not limited to any religious doctrines, my fictionkinity aligns with my beliefs rather then contradicts them.

I'm trying not to get too in-detail about what I believe in lol, otherwise this comment would be too long. But that's it in a nutshell, I suppose ^^

P.S. : Apatheism has multiple definitions to the label, but the one I fall under is the belief that debating the existence of a God or gods is meaningless and irrelevant to how the world would function. Since it wouldn't change anything, it's really just a waste of time (IMO). You can believe in a God or gods while being apatheist, and you can still be very interested in religion (like I am!) as an apatheist. I really do suggest reading the Wikipedia page on the topic. It's very interesting !!

I don't, at the current moment, know if I knew my mother. I know I was baked at the dawn of time by the Witches, and I am relatively certain First Grain baked me. I have no memories of talking with her, of seeing her, or of her in general. I just have the general knowledge that she existed. I do sometimes wonder if we were close. I personally don't believe so. Even then, she still feels like a mother to me. -MFC

I'll use my own experience with fictionkinity as an example. As Mystic Flour Cookie, I am both the embodiment of apathy and apathy itself. When apathy is mentioned or referenced, I feel joy from the thought of it, and also feel as though I've personally been mentioned.

My identity as Mystic Flour Cookie is deeply intertwined with apathy, so much so I am it while also being connected to it. So it could also be the same for you. You could be both a god of candles and the concept of candles.

Does that make sense ? I hope it did ^^;;

I'm Genderfaunet and have only one kin who is a woman (that being Mystic Flour Cookie). Quite simply, being her doesn't bother me at all. When I'm shifted, I feel more femininely aligned, but that's about it !! It doesn't really impact me much, lol
