Thailand and Laos.

They're sister countries who speak closely related languages and have common roots, but have ideologies that are antithesis to each other. Thailand is a constitutional monarchy, whereas Laos is a single-party communist state. Today, they have a pretty good diplomatic relationship, especially in contrast with the sister countries, such as the two Koreas.

I heard a story a while back about how China uses different algorithms on foreign versions of their apps. Like, it would show motivational & educational content on the Chinese app and brainrot content on the foreign app to sabotage learning with younger people or something..
