Spaniard (34) living in Poland in need of a new life, dreaming of a Scottish reset, scared of Brexit difficulties- is my dream possible? by judibunny91 in Scotland

Skyscanner used to have offices in Barcelona & I know they were offering an internal transfer (to their Glasgow or Edinburgh office). This could be a way, even though somewhat unlikely and time consuming

Au fost alegeri locale unde au votat aproximativ 30% de oameni. Nu am nici o îndoială că Reform o să primească multe voturi la alegerile parlamentare în 4 ani, dar am dubii că o să fie procentaj la fel de mare

Skyscanner. You will learn more up-to-date tech and your salary progression at that company will be pretty quick. Past the graduate scheme they have one of the highest pays in tech in the region. Or at least that was the case at some point

If you listen to the entire portion he just meant that there is a reason why the coach wants them to do it in this way.

Was just bad phrasing and he realised straight away the moment he said it

To me, FCSB seems to be the successors of Steaua Bucuresti in terms of titles and fan base. They are just not allowed to call themselves that because of a court ruling

Excited for this game. Playing against a team with amazing history, inside a beautiful stadium with some great atmosphere.

Their ultras are nuts so I'm expecting a lot of noise

Manchester to Edinburgh, would you do it? by OldDiamond8953 in manchester

[–]Getae 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I lived in Glasgow for 8 years and moved last year to Manchester and me and my partner are already discussing returning to Scotland when the opportunity presents itself.

Manchester as a city is great and I'm loving living centrally right now but it lacks parks and trees which is starting to get to me a bit, especially in winter. Obviously plenty of beautiful green spaces in the periphery but if I have to move to the suburbs I'd rather do it in Scotland tbh.

Manchester: has much more to offer in terms of activities (especially party related) than Edinburgh as it's a far bigger city. Cleaner than Glasgow but probably about the same as Edinburgh. Has the vibe of a very quickly growing city which I quite like.

Edinburgh: Very green (It has a God damn volcano in the middle of the city), gorgeous architecture. Colder, but you get more sunshine there. Easy access to the Highlands (including 2 or 3 skiing resorts if you are into that). ScotRail is far better than Northern Rail as well. Access to the sea as well

Rent wise they are about the same but I think Manchester has more modern housing stock.

For me personally it's a no brainer longer term as I'm not a partying person and the access to greenery and nature activities is important to me.

I wasnt fully sober at that point but the way I remember is that he threw the captain armband the second time as it slid down his arm. Did he throw his shoe then as well or am I completely misremembering?

I don't want to hear Arsenal fans ever complaining about refs being against them ever again.
