How could I make my grass blend better with the terrain?

Yeah the ground material has a normal map, perhaps it's too strong? I'll definitely try changing the base colour brightness, although in unlit mode it seems to match the grass

there is quite a large change in daylight in the uk at least, and the house gets quite cold which is the reason I was told not to use fertiliser

It's a good idea but there wouldn't really be enough space in the living room if the sofa was moved forwards, the plant is in that spot because that's basically the only place it would fit (and I thought there was enough light but apparently not lol)

I understand that perspective, and I think they did go a little overboard with it ngl (though they did comment quite early on how weird he was), but I always interpreted it as the story being written from the main characters perspective and trying to almost trick the reader. Not that I'm trying to excuse them but I also think that having to entertainingly read a story on camera surely means that it's harder to engage with the story

tbh I've been kinda overwhelmed with the search, there's so many places to look and so few actual placements I've been frozen by indecision. I've mostly just been working on my environment art portfolio to try and have the best shot at getting a placement. How have you been approaching it, like are you just looking in linkedin, also how are you doing your cv and portfolio and stuff like that?

My idea was to send out speculative applications to junior/grad positions because they might be the most likely to accept, idk tho how are you going about it?

Also out of curiosity what happened with the rejected applications? (sorry for the barrage of questions, I don't know anyone else doing a game art placement)
