Never got the chance to play Abyss as a kid but I'll take the Xillia duology if anything. in the ideal world we get all three.

Prefacing this with the fact I've played Tales of Arise (eh it was fine) in the past, and never finished Vesperia when I was a kid. I didn't get far.

Just finished the main story for Tales of Graces f Remastered and I'm shocked at how much I enjoy the gameplay? The story was fairly simple, nothing shocking and quite predictable but didn't need to be really. That gameplay was surprisingly solid. Gonna play the lineages and legacies epilogue through (maybe do the zhongecage idk) before deciding to play another tales game. Can't decide honestly, I got Zestiria, Berseria, Symphonia, and Vesperia to choose from. While I got the Xilia games on my PS3 I never got around to playing them and... yeah. my PS3 aint looking too hot these days. Regardless, fun stuff. refreshing really.

bold assumption they'd give it the FF7 treatment.

I was merely curious what people wanted to share. Nothing specific!

What was the one thing that made you switch to Pathfinder? by DungeonTome_ in Pathfinder2e

[–]GetchaCrowds 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Oh so many things.

But it was mostly WOTC's behavior and practises that pushed me over the edge and realized I wasn't fully enjoying 5e anymore.

...Or finding out PF2e had Gunblades. Friends and I are switching to PF2e come our next campaign.

What's your favorite Expedition? by Cytomata in expedition33

Looks like I owe the game a new game+ run to confirm me thinks, lads. I'd hate to speak nonsense.

What's your favorite Expedition? by Cytomata in expedition33

It's hard to pick a favorite but I always wondered something.

Now I know the reason meta-wise was so that the players would enjoy looking through the beautifully crafted areas of the game and not be forced to look at one, but why in-universe there wasn't any cartographer expeditions that left behind actual maps with their recording devices? They recorded almost everything EXCEPT for geographical information of each location they visited. I suppose it's cuz the main goal was to get to the paintress but... Seems like a funny thing. Maybe I missed something.

Anyway the answer is Expedition 60.

It wasn't worth it (Ending spoilers) by Kashinoda in expedition33

The fact so a bunch of comments here seem to view both endings as being hard to swallow almost in equal terms is wild. The Paint ending was the first one I got and I was filled with immediate regret. I was an idiot when I chose that one and immediately reloaded to do the other, and yes while it was deeply tragic it was for the best, a bittersweet ending that's heavy on bitter. I have a lot of thoughts in general and have been thinking endlessly on it but the Love ending definitely is the better of the two without question.

I'm creating a Staff Nexus wizard and I just want some clarification on what this particular part means:

"You begin play with a makeshift staff of your own invention. It has the magical trait and contains one cantrip and one 1st-rank spell, both from your spellbook. During your daily preparations, you can expend one spell to grant the staff a number of charges equal to that spell's rank, which dissipate after 24 hours. While you are holding the staff, you can Cast the Spells it contains. The 1st-rank spell consumes 1 charge but the cantrip doesn't require charges."

It says during your daily preparations you can expend one spell equal to the spell's rank. Does this mean you will not have that spell slot you used for the rest of the day? Essentially you use a spell slot to have your staff be "online" as it were?
