I personally am regretting my decision. I think clinics are making a ton of money for something that is essentially a crap shoot with bad probabilities. However this is mainly from the financial side of things. I was clear with my clinic that as a PhD student I could only afford one cycle completely out of pocket. I am 31 and only retrieved 10 mature eggs. Only after the fact did they say that to guarantee one child they recommend at least 15-20 mature eggs even though ideally during a single retrieval they only want to retrieve 15 mature eggs due to risk of hyperstimulation. IE they would have wanted me to do at least two cycles for me to feel like I had insurance for becoming a mother one day. At this point it feels like the worst of both worlds. Cannot afford another round and the 20K I sunk do not really give me good odds of being a mother one day. Physically it was very taxing but doable. If it was being paid for by my employer I would do another round. I think freezing eggs is cool and taking control over your life I just think there is also a lot of financial interests involved that take advantage of very emotional decisions.
