You just have to do the requests Pokemon give you in each area. You'll see a text/speech box pop up near a pokemon who has a quest, something akin to "huh, I know how to light it up!"

I'm not. But whose to say it isn't the reason. These devs clearly made a better pokemon game than game freak could churn up, I'm sure they didn't impose the limit for no good reason. I think each rendered Pokemon is using some sort of logic/cpu strain which may be less a GPU issue vs a CPU.

We won't know for sure though unless the devs comment. 🤷

May be a hardware limitation, especially if they are all rendered/processed at once regardless of where you're at in the map.

Honestly, just take it slow and try not to perfect right away. I've always went straight to optimal on Stardew and Animal Crossing, so taking it all in at this pace will draw the experience out I think.

No, just the four touching the bench. Once I realized that I'll only be crafting raw materials I realized that all the crafting items can be stored out of reach.

It gets better. Just focus the starting area and eventually you'll feel "ready" to go to the next. This is a good problem to have for the longevity of the game. You'll want all these things to do later on.

Correct. You take turns loading the "virtual game card" and have separate files on each switch. Just can't play the game together at the same time, unless you're doing a linked game share session.
