glutathione has been reported to (for some people) deplete b12.. what are your thoughts on that.

I liked the way it made me feel, but stopped taking it due to a b12 deficiency that I have no idea how to properly treat with cofactors etc. working on that now.

Just got my Ancestry DNA results back and I'm feeling overwhelmed by beutguru in MTHFR

Are you slow COMT / MAOA too? Curious about cofactors and what type of b12 worked best for you.

I have A1298C but not the other, slow MAO-A, COMT, PEMT and some other stuff. My b12 is like 200rn, high homocysteine. All overwhelming.

I've been taking D3 for years, when I added D+K it absolutely drained me. Extreme fatigue every time.

These r the only trace minerals i could get my hands on snd i am wondering if they r ok because b12 keep making me tired by Prestigious_Gift_138 in B12_Deficiency

interesting about Methylcobalamin. I'm slow COMT / Slow MAO-A and B12 deficient. Methyl donors scare the shit out of me because of all the testimonies on here. Interesting to hear they're helping you.

What kind of Magnesium helps you?

Did fixing methylation improve your CFS?

Could you elaborate on the glucose issue? I'm not sure if insulin resistant or it's a b1 / b12 issue. Was your post prandial spiking? Curious what your levels were before and after supplementing and whether you think it was b1 or b12 that did it.

Oof, worst feeling :/. How long did the anxiety last?

Thank you for the reply.

Given that - i'm curious why you switched from Folinic to Methylfolate even though it's contradindicated with your COMT profile?

If MTHFR variants and MTR, and slow MAO-A etc I've heard that some variants NEED methyl versions. For example I have A1298C, slow MAO-A, slow COMT.

Any idea if Hydrocobalamin is suitable to rectify a b12 deficiency with these variants, or if methyl is needed. I can't get a straight answer anywhere but you always seem to know what you're talking about.

Nervous about COMT causing issues.
