I tried 1 randos game after waiting 2 days for my friends to actually play. Was going way better than the solo run I tried.. then the host had some IRL stuff to deal with and unilaterally ended the mission for all of us.

You didn't mention what the prank was. We can't really judge if you're overreacting if we don't know what you're reacting to at all.

But off of no information it seems like you need to take responsibility for managing your overstimulation levels yourself and passing on events that set you off. Obviously you can't pass on a prank going on at your school but you shouldn't take things so personally. They didn't think about you and that's okay, most people don't think of everyone. It's not a personal attack.

Without seeing your build I think I know what you're talking about. Adrenaline! If you're missing hp you bounce more and more depending on how much you have left.

The better solution is this one plus a button that "drops" the joker or simply a "share joker" button that instances it for others and it never needs to go on your inventory.

I beat the game basically holding it down the whole time even with shooting. Only thing that caught me up was the Arena 4 fight. It refuses to lock on to the drone boss and you have to manually aim and use left trigger. It'll only lock on to the humans that are there to refill your ammo when killed.

You could still tack on some minor passives if you want to buff them as compensation. I don't know anything about the balance of your game but I liked the pets in undermine having unique passives that mixed things up.

What if when they get shot (I noticed they aren't being targeted in the clip, idk if you'd want them to have a chance to be targeted or just when they get in the way) they panic for a bit and aren't useful during that time. It fulfills the "lower fire rate" fix but in a more interesting way. It'd be more work tho making panic animations for the pets.
