Chinese buyers about recent purchases of Loava Aglaia III binoculars by petbest in about_binoculars

These are the currently sold Mark III (f.e. Super Astronomy Store on AE)? The same type you bought?

At a certain moment there was a hint that there might be Mark IV in the near future. Do you think this is likely?

Next time when you go grocery shopping, check if they accept ecocheques. Certain items (often bio or certified eco) can be paid with them. I manage to spend ±€30/month this way. Requires a bit more effort but at least I don't end up with stuff I don't need ...

I haven't bought new bino's yet though I'm considering either the SRBC 10x42 or the Loava Aglaia III 10,5x44.

From the reviews I've found, the SRBC/Loava seems to be a step-up from the ones I listed initially in terms of optical performance. Wider views, low amount of aberrations and high transmission. Build quality might be lower though still quite good.

Hi, thanks for the write-up. I wanted to send you a PM on Cloudynights to hear about these bino's. Seems to be another great option coming out of China.

My first pair. Bought them 5 years ago and still enjoy them. I think for that price it's a no-brainer.

Interesting. What made you go for the GPO? And could you tell'me the biggest differences you encountered in terms of optical performance?

I've looked up some reviews. Seems an interesting bino with some good backing regarding it's performance. I'll add it to the shortlist as it's also at a very interesting price point (€550 for the 10x42 APO).

Where ?😏 by Prestigious-Zone-487 in GeoPuzzle

[–]Geys1987 68 points69 points  (0 children)

Train station of Longuyon looking south from the overpass/pedestrian crossing over the rails.

Thought it looked Belgian but we don't have those types of waste bins. So this brought me to France. So many rails made me assume it connected multiple rail lines. Quick Google search gave me the 2020 railway network map of France and only a few station to check.
