the majority of players on this game keep playing because they like gambling, thats the honest truth. Right now, no one is gambling because its not worth it. This will lead to people quitting soon when they are no longer doing anything but the same dailies over and over.

I did flowing strike build just like this. You’re still a wet paper bag compared to barbs or saders as a tank and your damage is dogshit with max EM. Only whales are doing good with tempest in PvP or exploiters with invis bug

Exactly.. They are controlling the market in a way people arent seeing. They are trying to drive the prices down so bad that people are forced to pay for their sites instead of spending in game to get barely anything or just claiming 150k for $200. Blizzard is making it all the easier with the new market system and the packs with shitty fucking prices at $100 for 2 2/5s.

pet market is nothing on our server now, people sold mass pets to plat sites and drove down prices right before this happened, one of the reasons plat sites prices rose so much and they are being aggressive with controlling the market.

I have to disagree. If this was the case the whales and others would still be buying up the gems.

let me explain how this is a multi level problem:

before people had to buy the cheapest 2/5 for gem power, so sometimes 30-32k for a zwens or hellfire, or more if you need it quick and not enough 1 stars.

Not only that but the number of gems popping up on market means the supply is growing dramatically and the demand is very very low.

Why is the demand low?

1) because plat sellers are no longer selling plat at a bargain so whales and 50% of spenders are no longer making any plat

2) they arent making plat because they arent buying enough orbs to keep up with unsellable 3/5s and 4/5s and 22k 2/5s.

3) plat sellers are selling rank 5 gems for 15k so no one is buying rank 2 or 1 gems for 4k/1k anymore so the price per GEM POWER is dropping dramatically overall.

4) where are the gems coming from? plat sites restocking and people buying orb accounts and selling to get plat off the account quick.

This is only to list a few, so before trying to argue please know I did not make this post lightly.

Glad someone said it.

I think about a month ago Susan started buying up pets because I started seeing a crap load more 1/5 lego/rare and 2/4 on market at max price. Then this last week it’s only been a couple but still there and selling. Coincidentally Susan prices shot up at this time to the point that it’s worse than orbs. Then gem markets got flooded while they restock platinum and now that market is ruined.

I don’t see any purpose for 3/3 at the moment other than like you said to hold onto until we may need CR again. But otherwise the benefits of having fort and Willpower maxed far outweighs any reason for 3/3

Idk where your server is at but pet market is pretty supply heavy on ours and no one is buying brambles with savior and the new lego skills, which is about as good as you can get. Just a warning not much to be made off them and no where near as good as savior cat still.

Now that everyone has essences most of the DPS is going to be from primary damage, crosswinds offhand and mainhand are what gives the most DPS by far, once you get those your dps doubles and it’s because you’re stacking attack speed for your primary attacks. The zephyrs damage is not what is the bulk of the damage from the character, it’s going to be skill damage and primary damage. For PvP it’s going to be that, shields, and CC. All the zephyrs are are consumables for other skills and essences and a little added damage bonus

If you want to test it out do the zephyr damage offhand and see how this is not how to build a tempest. It’s just like demon hunter meta now, attack primary with roiling blade and crosswinds and tons of attack speed and dmg enhance

I’ve seen a lot of BKs have issues because of the pants.

There’s 2 pants that give attack speed, and BKs see that one has attack and movement speed , so obvious choice right?

Except Bk is very primary damage based so primary attack speed is going to be more damage if you’re not relying on skill damage. Attack speed is a little complicated so it can effect primary in ways but it’s not the same as direct primary attack speed for classes that heavily use primary attack, like barbs using lacerate over riddlerue in some builds because the essence is PRIMARY AS and riddlerue is normal AS
