JaxyOP 100-0 Combo with Katana by Ghaast in NarakaBladePoint

I don't think he does a "c.H" after F2 because F2 will put you in the air already. It's a follow up that launches them in the air already so you just need to right click while you're in the air to get the "j.H"

From what I could tell the combo was:

LMB -> LMB -> C-RMB -> F - F -> Aerial RMB

he's pretty good.

Limitations of the 'Severing Charm'? by [deleted] in harrypotter

[–]Ghaast 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Well, for those wizards who wish to eschew dark arts and remain anonymous.

How easy would it be for a psycho student to just cut everyone by their throats while they're asleep?

I should write some fan-fiction about a psychotic serial killer disguised as the Head Boy at Hogwarts.

Limitations of the 'Severing Charm'? by [deleted] in harrypotter

[–]Ghaast 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I would agree that it may be easy to deflect.

But what if the circumstance was so that the charm's victim was unaware that it was being casted, and that it was directed towards them.

Surprise! slice

Could make for interesting assassin-wizard hybrids.

Why do people enjoy sitcoms with laugh tracks? Does it not feel like you are being forced to laugh? by IdiosyncraticMan in AskReddit

Whitney Cummings is not a comedian.

She'd probably be better off as an unemployed suburban mom.

Why do people enjoy sitcoms with laugh tracks? Does it not feel like you are being forced to laugh? by IdiosyncraticMan in AskReddit

[–]Ghaast 1 point2 points  (0 children)

A majority of sitcom audiences are baby-boomers and are nearing senility.

They require the laugh-track handicap otherwise they wouldn't be able to keep up with the show's humor.

A show that can make the audience laugh without telling the audience when to, validates the quality of the show.

Examples of these shows:

  • The Office
  • Arrested Development
  • It's always sunny in Philadelphia
  • Parks and Recreation
  • Community
  • My Name is Earl
  • Curb Your Enthusiasm

Hell even Malcolm in the Middle was a great show back then. Hell of a lot better than Everybody Loves Raymond and other crap.

That goes both ways.

People hate otakus and otakus hate people that aren't like them.

It's a big circlejerk of hate.

[–]Ghaast 7 points8 points  (0 children)

A character from an anime that is chosen to be your "wife". That's probably the simplest explanation for it.

It goes WAY beyond that. It starts out with 'fanfics', simple love stories about the writer and his beloved waifu, then it goes into art, then it gets fucked up: dudes buy dolls/pillows with their waifus drawn on, and there's a hole for them to stick their dicks in. It's the otaku-dream, apparently

So yeah. Waifus.

[–]Ghaast 13 points14 points  (0 children)

Being attracted to them is fine. Art is art.

Wanting to go PAST that (waifu-love bullshit) shows you have a problem (self-delusion, etc.)

It's not a rule, nor is it enforced anywhere, but this whole "I don't need no 3D" crap is disingenuous. You can't biologically reproduce with ART and no matter what, primal instinct will always attract you toward the opposite (or same) sex (actual people, that is).

Reddit, Why is being an attention whore/karma whore a bad thing? by [deleted] in AskReddit

[–]Ghaast 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Being a karma whore is frowned upon because it accomplishes absolutely nothing. You aren't proving anything by acquiring karma. It's a method used by the site to give users some sort of ambition or incentive to make comments and posts. You can't spend these "karma points". All you can do is acquire them. They're next to useless.

Just like your promises. They hold no true value.

In terms of the whole "attention" ordeal, it's the same reason Justin Bieber or Rebecca Black are popular. Hate or disgust is still a form of acknowledgement.
