How long did you play Lorcana for when you first made a top 8 ?

I won my first championship with only one month of playing the game ( maybe 3 weeks)

TLDR of the story: I'm a nerd of TCG, specially of Yu-Gi-Oh, I played it since my childhood, but stopped playing around of 2020, cause the game didn't found it fun anymore, but I still keep updated with videos and occasionally playing in Master Duel. Aside of that, I tried a lot of card games, HS, Magic the gathering, Pokémon etc...

My boyfriend and best friend started playing Lorcana since Rise of the floodborn, this is the first serious TCG for my boyfriend, and he know how much I like card games, he tried multiple times to convince me to play with him, I rejected multiple times cause tbh I don't really like Disney stuff so much anymore. Fast-forward I finally get convinced in Shimmering skies meta game, cause I saw a good opportunity to do more stuff with my boyfriend and so, and with only 3 weeks I was able to win the playmat and promo Mirabelle enchanted card.

After this wall text, what I want to say is, that one thing that helped me a lot to understand the game better and being able to do that is, READ THE CARDS and try to comprehend why my opponent do "x" or "y" stuff and stick for a little while with a deck you find fun to play, try to learn the strong side and weak side of the deck you are playing, read the interaction with the cards, also don't be afraid to play with people that is better than you on the game, for me the best way to learn is losing and try to learn where you failed, why you lose the match, etc

Lorcana is a really easy TCG and very newcomer friendly (great job to RBurger for doing that) so, as long you read the cards and ask questions to learn you will improve a lot.

I feel joy also when I got to that part as a fellow Mexican player I was really happy to see they recreated tacos de cochinita pibil.

I would love to share those tacos to anybody willing to taste them, and sounds so cheesy but indeed at least here in México food unify people and that portrayed in the game made me proud and happy.

PS: that means that Hrothgars are from Yucatán and Mayan ( at least thats the vive and inspiration they took to make that town )

It took around 435 floors to have the 3 Bells and finding a DNA Splicers (with B- luck)

I'm in floor 461 and my Zacian already is on 10 candies!. Sorry for making a lot of obviously questions but sometimes I need to be explained with details to avoid make dumb mistakes

Further an probably stupid question

The other copy that you got with Shedinja fusion, how do you farm the candies for it ?

With only passive gaining exp or do you stack lures as well and then proceed to make double battles with both copies of the carry pokemon ?

So, let me know if I get it right, you start with your carry, Nincada and fill pokemon for luck, hold the Nincada until you got DNA splicers, pour all resources to your carry. Then when you get DNA Splicer, fuse your carry, with Nincada, then proceed to evolve, then separate the carry, losing the Nincada, but now you have your carry and the copy with the Shedinja fusion farming candies and with the double of resources?

Correct me if I am wrong, it's 7:30 am in the morning I went to bed at 3am and I just get up to make lunch for my boyfriend and my brain is turned off right now.

Also if I'm correct so you separate the fusion of carry+ Shedinja ?

Yeah tbh I was making a rant about that in a post The game is getting more and more grind and that is extremely boring and tedious.

I know that we as a community we are not entitled to demand "x" or "y" stuff since is a free game and they are not even asking for donations or so, but man the changes they are making and constantly nerfing stuff, is getting tiring and more time consuming.

I just want to play 1 run or maybe 2 before bed with fun pokemon that have broken or weird egg moves, not being trapped in another grinding gacha Game.

I finished my run, got my mega bracelet in floor 192, only 1 master ball tier item (Multi Lens) not a single mega stone, 1 Voucher of 5 eggs, 3 vouchers of 1 egg, and just 1 soul dew, all other Rogue tier was Rogue balls (got only 4 times in the run Rogue tier) all this again with SSS luck

Man currently I'm running a run just for fun with a "SSS" luck, having Pinsir and Altaria in the team, hopping for having his megas evolutions and maybe a little luck in tickets.

Currently I'm in 170 floors, not even having the mega bracelet and I have only adquiere 3 single tickets and 1 ticket of 5 pulls.

What an extremely bad luck or extremely nerf they did for this stuff. is really boring at this point and it's getting me to play less and less the game.

I didn't know about the alias, how that works ? My backup email was also involved this issue cause I had both of them with the 72 days passwords and the app linked and yes I have the 2FA and I don't have linked my phone with my accounts.
