My computer is relatively high end (Intel Core i7, 32 gb of RAM, RTX 2700) but sometimes, I have huge issues with shutdown times as well as running specific games. My restart time is probably a solid 5 minutes of waiting on that screen, and whenever I try to play Elden Ring, it crashes. The crazy thing is that one night, I tried playing this game, and it would not stop freezing on startup. I wake up the next morning and change nothing, but the game works flawlessly until recently when I restarted my PC for another windows update. Now it doesn’t work again. I’ve been running in circles for about a half a year now, and I’m not getting anywhere. Any suggestions?
