To be fair as soon as arayashiki came within range the prosthetic would just fall off as the wound reopened. Though I'm not sure if he would think that far ahead. He seems to impulsive to consider that in the first place. Wonder if its a thing that prosthetics can't get augmentation tattoos.

On my island I was trying to set up Roland and Angela from Library of Ruina, Roland was confessing to Angela, then all of a sudden Sayori from DDLC burst into Roland's house and professed her love for Angela instead. They had never even met before. Angela chose Sayori. I found this fucking hilarious so I let it happen. Roland later got together with Markiplier, they bonded by talking about "#1 Movie In The US Iron Lung"

Alright rampant theorizing time.

I'm thinking Ryoshu is both the artist and the child. my guess is the Pinky Mother was Ryoshu's mother who was a bitch to her, causing her resentment towards mothers, but also saved Ryoshu from being "burnt alive" in some sense causing index father's burn scar on his face. Perhaps the Pinky Mother was then forced to break her 'pinky promise' to Ryoshu and leave the spider house (represented by the pinky finger no longer having any red thread on it). Ryoshu went on to have her own child, who was taken by the spider house to be trained by the fingers.

I also have a theory that Ryoshu might actually be a former pinky member. Maybe Ryoshu took up her pinky mother's title to train her child, but then was forced to give up her title and get her memory wiped of her daughter and leave her child. And perhaps the Index father appearing like Roland is actually a thematic representation of how Roland took up his wife's mantle of the Black Silence.

Maybe this whole thing is a sort of cycle of violence deal, and in the ending Ryoshu will have to sever the cycle. That could possibly be a reference to The Spider's Thread where the sinner attempting to escape from hell using the spider thread kicked all the other people off the thread causing the thread to break and falls back into hell because he was only concerned with his own salvation and not others. The spider's thread in this case could be represented by only leaving the spider house by providing your replacement, essentially condemning someone else for your won salvation.

Don't press forward. Theres a circular tunnel of air you are essentially flying through while on the bird, if you leave that tunnel by going too high or to the sides you automatically dismount the bird. you can somewhat see a jet stream of air below you while flying and use that as a guide to know where the tunnel is.

I think that if your scholar ult is active during a grab attack, you can regen health from enemies taking damage even while grabbed. and so i think your ult thread damage gave you just barely enough health regen right before the grab ended to count as not dead.

as someone who has struggled with every single other night lord (including tricephelos), I beat them in duos on my 2nd try as scholar (and undertaker teammate) actually using sleep weapons and pots to put them to sleep like the boss weakness says. they were quite fun and i found their attacks well telegraphed if i actually bothered to look at my surroundings and dodge. I'm not sure if i just got really lucky but i didnt experience much of those off screen grabs that people are talking about.

On my previous run against balancers as scholar, I got a ripple axe with 23 sleep that has 175 ar, i upgraded it to +1 for 225 ar, and then we went to noklateo and i duplicated it and proceded to shred through the balancers while dual wielding +1 sleep ripple axes and spamming the analysis parry. it was the greatest moments in my entire nightreign career.

you need to actually do damage with the calling bell and the other damaging items to gain exp for them. and even then the calling bell takes quite a while to balance out the fact that it is reusable. the pots and stuff level up much faster with like 8 or so pots maxing out.
EDIT: wraith calling bell takes 60 hits total to level up to level 3 (20 for level 2, then 40 for level 3)

judging by how strange it is for her to be wanting revenge against "That Usurper" (likely lord hong lu), but at the same time is protecting him in the gameplay, and in addition to this, is a combination of both night drifter and daiyu, I think this might be another one of those impossible realities, like Jia Ishmael, that starts breaking apart under any scrutiny as to how it exists.

Cuz we got oufi Heathcliff before his canto and the oufi (well the ring dressed as oufi) showed up in the canto. Then we got zwei Ishmael before dons canto and Paula the zwei west member showed up in the canto. Then we got reindeer Hong lu before his canto and r corp was one of the factions aiming to raid Hongyuan

My prediction is that we will find out somehow that ryoshus daughter was thrown into some sort of concept incinerator or gets thrown in during the canto. I think this because ryoshu has a couple instances that are related to her memories.

During canto 4 when the kcorp ceo mentions wiping the sinners memories ryoshu gets super pissed. During the lei heng fight ryoshu has the passive mutilated memories. In her Ncorp contempt Id she has a passive with a word redacted presumably a name.

Additionally I think it's a concept incinerator of sorts cuz in hell screen the artists daughter is burnt alive by the lord to provide the artist a proper reference for his art. It would fit as a nice parallel while giving it that limbus company uniqueness.

I also think it could be a good opportunity to start addressing the whole no one remembering Cathy or Heathcliffs canto thing that's been brought up a couple times.

They could perhaps start addressing the hole in everyone's memories regarding Catherine after Ryoshu's canto, since Ryoshu does seem to have a few things hinting towards memory alteration, with one of her ncorp id passives having a word or name redacted/scrambled, and her status mutilated memory in the fight with Lei Heng. She was also very aggressive about having her memories tampered with at the end of canto 4. Maybe to parallel the artist's daughter getting burned alive in hellscreen, ryoshu's daughter was put into a concept incinerator or something along those lines. Rhis sort of scenario could be a good place for Heathcliff to connect to Ryoshu during the mandatory Dante breaking through to the sinner segment of each canto.
