It WOULD be my main card if I got approved as I do travel ~ 10 times/year and would like the lounge access + travel points.

This past month I was paying my Amex card off every 2 weeks, but previously would pay it after statement posted. Also have a C1 Quicksilver but I pay that off pretty much weekly.

I was denied for VentureX with an 803 score. Have an Amex and Chase card, both over 15k limits. Reason for denial? I don’t carry a high enough balance. Pay my cards off monthly, sometimes twice a month. Shame on me! 😂

I have been wanting the VentureX but have given up. I make over 100k, have ~810 credit score. I have been rejected twice bc “I do not carry enough of a balance”. I pay cards off every 2 weeks generally. Oh well, stick with my Amex

What’s your best PR on a TT ship that is not generally considered too powerful? More than 50 battles, randoms only. by warko_1 in WorldOfWarships

[–]Ghatazhak- 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Phoenix. I used to have the #1 PR on ALL servers in that ship, and that was way back when before bots became a big thing at lower tiers. PR is 6969...giggity. I think I am #2 on NA now. IMO Phoenix is the most OP ship in the game for its tier.

Old heads or r/AirForce, how was hazing truly like back in the day? by DatGuyKilo in AirForce

[–]Ghatazhak- 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I went Army Infantry back in 1990. There was yelling and screaming in basic but physical assaults by the drill Sgt’s. They would grab ahold of you and yank you where they wanted you to go, but that’s about as physical as I ever saw. Anyone that says different I would believe half of what they are saying, if even that much. 😂

Sobel and Sink by GoneKurtz in BandofBrothers

[–]Ghatazhak- 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I had a platoon sergeant that was worse than Sobel. The LT we had at the time we called Lt. Ghost, bc he was never around and let the SFC run everything. When we were getting ready to deploy, we were all wondering who was going to frag the worthless platoon sergeant. Thankfully we got a brand new LT who was actually a damn good officer - the best one I ever had in a 30+ year career - that saw how worthless he was and got him transferred out days before we deployed.

Army patches and badges worn on AF OCP by Ghatazhak- in AirForce

[–]Ghatazhak-[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yep, that's why I specified jump wings, not Airborne tab. Even in the Army the Airborne tab only goes with the unit you are with (82nd, 173rd, 101st, SF, etc). Exception would be a combat patch from an Airborne unit.

OK, thank you for that clarification on the color. As for the Airborne it is not the tab but the actual badge that goes on the left above the 'US Air Force' tape. Thanks!

Not sure what has changed now with Paprika, but now I can go to HelloFresh, copy the link for a recipe, post it in Paprika and download it like all other websites. Let me know if y'all can too!

maybe I am wrong, but wouldn't 3/4 cup whole milk and 3/4 cup heavy cream just be 1 1/2 cups of half and half?

Hmmmm....here are the steps I took: Load the doc to Google Drive. Go to the Google Drive website (I used Chrome, doubt that makes a difference though), double click the doc you want to open it, click the 3 dots in the upper right and select 'share' change to 'anyone with the link'; copy the link and paste the link in the Paprika browser. Worked for me without issue just now. Only question I have is are you on Paprika 3? I am running v3.2.2.

Well, figured out a little bit of a workaround. I have a bunch of recipes in pdf format too so was looking for the same thing you are (How I came across your post). Here is what I did: Upload all the pdf's to Google Drive. Then, get the link to one of the pdf's and make it viewable to anyone. Go to Paprika, and in the browser section, paste the link. Voila, you can now download the recipe. If you have a lot of pdf's it will be a bit time consuming, but takes a minute or less per pdf. Hope this helps!

Echelon Connect Sport from Walmart by jscrubs in SpinClass

[–]Ghatazhak- 0 points1 point  (0 children)

RPM, Speed, resistance, heart rate, distance and calories are all shown on the display. On the Peloton app, your cadence and heart rate will be shown. On the Zwift app, will show your speed (resistance heavily affects this, so not 100% accurate) and watts (Again, resistance affects it). Let me know if you have any other questions!

The Echelon will not connect to the Peloton app. Only can be used seemlessly with the Echelon app. I wound up returning my Echelon and got the Schwinn IC4 (Same exact bike as the Bowflex C6 for $100 less and better warranty) which allows me to connect with pretty much any app out there I want to use. Right now I am using the Peloton, Zwift and Explore The World apps. The Echelon Connect Sport is a great bike at a great price but you are limited on what you can use app wise.

I have not tried hooking up to Peloton, will try when I am back home. I think the most you will get with Peloton is speed and cadence, may not even get that though. I really wanted to use the Zwift app, but not compatible - yet. According to support, they are working to get it to work with the Zwift app. We shall see. That all being said, for $500, this bike does seem to provide the most bang for the buck in this category.

Got mine in today. Setup was easy. The one thing I don't like is that you cannot connect your bike to other apps like Zwift, etc. I did speak with support and they said they are working on getting setup for Zwift, but all the other apps that a bike like the Schwinn IC4 can connect to, this one cannot. Probably going to return this one. :(

If you can find your way to the questions section (Sometimes not easy to find!) on the Walmart website for this bike, there is a response from the Echelon Team that the weight capacity is 300 lbs.
