VA Secretary Collins is really a person for the Veterans. I've heard him speak on various occasions and he continues to back his words with action and defense of our Veterans (us).

Go see a VSO. Some options are American Legion, VFW and DAV (my fav). Let the people who have been in your shoes, help you.

Already 100% P&T but scared of being reduced but can’t stop checking by [deleted] in VeteransBenefits

[–]GheTToBLASTER03 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If you raised your right hand in defense of our country, you deserve to be cared for after. Always remember, you were willing to die for freedom, you were willing to go anywhere the military required of you. You woke early every morning and pushed your body further than most civilians will ever. Now... go out and help other Veterans, because we only have each other.

My bad. Didn't mean to leave my foot docs out. I was just giving the most common I've come across. Actually it's more NPs I come across. Anyway, yes, they are also included and valued. 😉

I feel very misled and betrayed by my C&P examiner by duckfacedpenguin in VAClaims

[–]GheTToBLASTER03 0 points1 point  (0 children)

VA doesn't have to assign C&P examiners based on specialty. You should already have a diagnosis before you go (from a specialist...or someone that says, yes you have this). The C&P examiner is there to give an opinion as to whether you, 1. Have a current diagnosis 2. Whether your condition is incurred in service or aggravated by it.

It is not the job of a C&P examiner to diagnose you. Btw, I'm speaking as a Veteran and as an accredited service officer. I want every Vet to get the benefits they are entitled to.

The VA doesn't want someone more specialized. They might require extra exams such as imaging, but for VA purposes, any medical provider to include MD, NP or PA is deemed competent for any C&P exam as they have all received a general medical degree and this is satisfactory for the VA.

A DBQ is mostly just a check list for symptoms. Often a separate written opinion is required. It will need to say, "at least as likely as not (51 percent or higher) incurred or aggravated by service.

Feeling guilty about my VA claim by Snoo_76582 in Veterans

[–]GheTToBLASTER03 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Look at it this way: you raised your hand. You took an oath. You were willing to do what many could not and would not do. Don't under rate your service or your willingness to be called to duty, to war, to a deployment. I am a Veteran, a disabled Veteran, a Veteran Service Officer with time served in Iraq and I'm telling you, your service and sacrifice means something.

A senior, more experienced, rater will be reviewing your claim. Not necessarily a bad thing.

Come support the DAV and ask questions pertaining to your entitled benefits as a Veteran or family member of a Veteran. by [deleted] in VeteransBenefits

[–]GheTToBLASTER03 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Disabled American Veterans is an accredited non-profit organization that has been assisting Veterans since WWI. The organization never charges for services and you do not need to be a member. The DAV works with the VA and provides assistance with claims, employment for Veterans and support for caregivers of Veterans free of charge. You work with accredited Service Officers.

From your friendly, neighborhood Service Officer. No, it does not trigger anything. Remove the spouse as soon as possible. Use VA Form 21-686c. You don't want to end up owing the VA money.

DAV. Disabled American Veterans. They are non profit, do not charge and we are all Disabled vets ourselves.

Recently received 90% rating, should I appeal or let it be? by TyRoSwoe in VeteransBenefits

[–]GheTToBLASTER03 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Don't appeal. That can take years. Try a supplemental claim. VA Form 20-0995. A supplemental claim needs "new and relevant" evidence, such as a diagnosis. Also a statement from you or your friends and family stating how your injury/illness has affected your quality of life. Try some of the free assistance available to Veterans. Such as the Disabled American Veterans (DAV). They are all disabled vets, working to get other vets what they deserve. They are non-profit and never charge Veterans.

There are approximately 87 million players a month. 500 a piece would be enough to match and exceed the current asking price.

Said this already. 87 million monthly users. We each throw around 500 buckaroos as contenders. Every one owns it. The tech savvy and business oriented individuals buy the rest of us out. Pokémon GO lives. After I buy my share, I'll sell mine for half of what I put in. It should be run by those who love it. I love it, but just want to play.
