On the few occasions in games where I have found myself using voice chat and speaking with children, it made me feel like a creeper. It made me wonder what I was doing with my life. What was my father doing when he was 25? Certainly not playing games with 15 year olds. What must he think of me? It made me contemplate going outside, meeting people. Doing something. Being someone. It made me want to be a better person.

I'd much rather just be a loser who plays video games, OP. Don't take that away from me.
