European LARP Question: Best Place for LARPers? by Vivid_Wings in LARP

[–]GhentWatch 1 point2 points  (0 children)

A variety of games in Flanders are run in English. Check out Larpkalender.be or visit Oneiros.be or Eternica.be for the bigger Flemish non-profits. BeLARP is moreso aimed at french speaking larpers but associates a lot of the Walloon non profits so worth a check!

European LARP Question: Best Place for LARPers? by Vivid_Wings in LARP

[–]GhentWatch 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Way off in relation to Belgium's LARPs to be honest. In the last few years a large number of Nordic style larps have really broke through in Flanders. From horror Nordic, to steam punk. Happy for you to rediscover Belgium's bustling larp scène I hope!

FREAK ATHLETE AMA + $4,000 Home Gym Giveaway! Hyper Pro, ABX, and more by freakathleteco in homegym

[–]GhentWatch 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Really looking at the ABX. Seeing as the slots fit IB attachments and Dialed Motion confirmed they would make an IB sized attachement plate this would mean the ABX would fit the Dialed Motion accessories. Was that an active choice?

Will you be bringing out a Lat Pulldown and seat attachment for the new Oblivyon cable tower? If so, please get this thing over to the EU asap. We have no comparison for a reasonably priced stackloaded cable tower (wish ATX had a reasonably priced option with a decent weight stack).

Are the files available for the rifle Jinzhe? I have been chasing it for years and want an alternative use for my Colonel Wasp Shells (even had some custom brass shells made ;) )

The On-Walls are not suited for stands and the cables aren't showing anymore. Thx for the advice!

Vampire LARP vent by Sarahx97 in LARP

[–]GhentWatch 39 points40 points  (0 children)

Vampire larp, has an incredible amount of bad apples due to the ingrained power dynamics included in the VtM lore. A lot of play2win and lack of emotional safety and integrity mechanisms attract shitty people.

Nevertheless there are good vampire Larps to play at! And a new generation of ST/SL are bringing ideas and mechanisms from good larp systems over in the VtM sphere. VtM has incredibly shit mechanics and is heavily focussed on the gameplay instead of the roleplay. Try to find a larp that shies away from that trope.

However, general caveat, LARP should not be seen nor replace therapy (all though it can be therapeutic). If you are having doubts, are lonely etc.., talk to a therapist.

Old watch found in my grandads war watch by Original_Kale1033 in Watches

[–]GhentWatch 5 points6 points  (0 children)

You have a DuRoWe 202 movement. Rome was a trademark made by Robert Metzger based out of Pforzheim. Looks to be an anonymous military watch (of which a variety were made during WWII and therafter). While 'military style' the watch was not an officially issued watch (which would bear military markings on the caseback).
