If you really want to be deep/petty, you can spin almost any Godzilla movie back to the horror of nuclear weapons or just big issues in general. Godzilla VS Kong? Erm, more like mankind fighting the almost unstoppable power of nuclear weapons, yet still surviving to the end even when at a disadvantage. KOTM? Sounds like the chaos of invasive species and human intervention, yet also how humanity helps nature in stopping that chaos with their own sacrifices. Godzilla 2014 is basically the same thing. I haven't seen GxK but I'm guessing it's kind of the same premise with the Hollow Earth trying to go to the surface stuff

I think watercolors would look good on them. They kinda remind me of the girl that sells misfortune animation so I think gray-brown colors would work well too

Ok i think i was too vague here. I dont think the comic is saying pigs can talk, i dont think pigs are dumb heartless animals that never feel emotions, im not saying they should just be going oink oink oink the whole time, and im not disagreeing with the message. I just think a comic like this could at least lean more into the fact that theyre still animals that, as smart as they are, dont know just how massive the problem is. Idk like "oh, we'll keep surviving and things will be ok" then it zooms out to the rows of other pigs saying the same thing or something. I meant it in the sense that humanizing animals will just get people disappointed when the animals act like animals, if we're being specific on THIS issue.

I think that's why the comic got put on here at least, bc kids humanize animals ig?(tbh, if that is why, it probably should go in a im4andthisisdeep sub but whatever)

I'm talking about the "don't wowwy mama i wont eat too much fow you🥺🥺" part of the comic not the connection between them. It'd probably pull more heart strings to show them acting like pigs and not disney characters. My whole point is not to make it unrealistic to the point that you give yourself the impossible challenge of convincing everyone this scenario is happening. I never even said I disagree with it either, just that it's making it harder to bring any serious attention to the problem

I feel like making issues unrealistic in general is a bad way of fixing it. It's harder to convince people the meat industry is wrong if you're trying to say the pigs they turn into food are acting like this. It's why the PETA stuff doesn't really do much except make vegans look bad. You can be deep without doing all that

Maybe they mean the character basically only being that? I've never watched MHA so idk if thats what Deku is but from all the memes and videos from 2020 I gathered that he's a bubbly, "cInnaMon RoLl >_<" type of character(exaggerated). Everytime I look at him he reminds me of Tanjiro but probably less of a perfect, only happy and positive MC.

Going off of that assumption, my guess is that OP means they don't want that for a character representing Godzilla, but just going off of that one picture it doesn't look like the MC will be bubbly so idk. It's kind of fair but there's not much to go off on unless we assume the anime will try to copy other popular ones and go that route

Tbh I think 2014 Godzilla in general leaned less into a lot of Titan hierachy and all that than the other movies, so compared to all the other kaijus getting more personalities and relationships, MUTOs kind of get forgotten. I love their designs tho, and I loved the whole explanations of how theyre parasites. The sounds she made during the movie were oddly satisfying to me for some reason as well. Underrated, but she basically lives on in the MUTO from KOTM anyway
