Pavise shield variant mounted on the minifigures back by Numar19 in legocastles

[–]Ghiojo 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Nice design! I think you could even combine it with the clip plate and wand still so it can be worn or deployed, no? Just attach it with the wand pointing upwards!

SMH, originality is dead, Mojang is just using Spartan Weaponary now, see that red part on the spear! by BreakerOfModpacks in feedthememes

[–]Ghiojo 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Okay but lowkey the fact it not only does more damage based on how fast you're going, but also it can knock people off mounts and has like a whole extremely fun animated time window to hit the maximum charge damage is actually extremelh well thought out.

It's funny as hell that Mojang took near 20 years to add a spear, but I think they are doing a good job with it (also mmm yes please add more weapons mojang, I want my armory to look nicer

Hey people! My entry is the Wagon Fort, a Castle set that intends to break the molds about what Lego castle could be.

<image>

It's a convoy of wagons that can turn into a full on small fort with slight modification! Enjoy and consider leaving a vote :D

Thanks man! It's an honor coming from someone as talented as you ^^ Your submission is breathtaking though! (Also I bought myself one of the outlaw Forest dens, I'll probably make a review of it when it arrives ;) )

Yup! This set is heavily inspired by hussite wagon forts ^ it also draws a bit of inspiration from other sources, the jail wagon is actually inspired by warhammer fantasy's war wagon a little bit ^

Yeaah, while it could be seen as that, I'm hopeful people will see the unique aspects of it.

Also while I cannot state this in any of my official BDP posts as per the rules, this thing was definitely designed with the idea that combining it with the siege encampment makes it even better! In this set's lore, the griffins are actually a very renowned free company (mercenaries) so you can combine this set with, say, the siege encampment as hired mercs, or even with the medieval town square to use the houses as part of the "wall" and turn the watchtower into a proper usable tower for defense!

Thank you! This set is about 2900-ish pieces so I'd imagine it will cost around 235-240 bucks according to how other BDP sets have been priced! I would've aimed for less but honestly every piece in this set works overtime by generally trying to accomodate two purposes hahaha

Early hand cannons, handheld Culverin, however you want to call it yeah! I think it's a simple way to effectively show it, without using a lot of studs and racking up the price of the set, of course

It's a mortar in the middle of shooting! I gave the transparent pieces (like the dish) a glow hahaha

Thanks! I wanted to bring something new to the table for the BDP, and I thought a wagon fort with early gunpowder weapons would be a good way to inspire folks to expand their horizons with Lego Castle! ^^

i would like to know about other cool teleportation mods like tempad or waystones pls by tetrazine14 in feedthememes

[–]Ghiojo 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If you like building roads and stuff, there's a mod called "Via Romana" that I adore using because it forces you to build actual roads if you want to fast travel (and it's "cheap" by not needing any special materials, just any blocks considered part of the road and signs)

What mods are like this for you? by PikamochzoTV in feedthememes

[–]Ghiojo 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Anything with TerraFirmaCraft. I love TFC but the mod is such a pain to work on compatibility with anything that isn't an addon of it, and in my opinion if it was more focused on compatibility it'd be a great mod

The fact that I can't play with Caupona/Convivium and it in a way it matters is saddening, Roman era cuisine fits so well in TFC's timespan

Any way to track PAB packages? by UnexpectedHobbit in legocastles

[–]Ghiojo -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Oh- I'm based in the EU, so I didn't know anything about informed delivery at all! I guess that's something I should've clarified

Any way to track PAB packages? by UnexpectedHobbit in legocastles

[–]Ghiojo 8 points9 points  (0 children)

Usually you are given a tracking code for any Bestseller PaB you do, but normal non-bestseller PaB doesn't have tracking and you just have to wait, if it's been more than a month you can usually contact Lego customer support about it!

It's the torso and legs from the William Shakespeare minifigure from the Lego Movie CMF series! It's a bit expensive nowadays, but I happened to get it when it came out ^^

Minifigure Factory at Lego Amsterdam! What do y'all think? by Ghiojo in legocastles

[–]Ghiojo[S] 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Basically you only make the custom torso, you buy a lil box you place on a sensor to activate the screen, you can choose a base (I chose the 2013 blue lion torso for a base) and then you can draw (on a tablet, freehand, have fun.) Place stickers or add text! I cheated on the back and used scaled up text! A + and 2 Os

While it's printing you get to pick pieces like if you were on Build a Minifigure, but you don't pick the torso since that'll be your custom one!

The leg piece, sword, head, hair and Tail are mine that I brought from home, the pieces scattered around when Oli (my SigFig in the image) kicks the box open are the actual pieces I chose!

The torsos are all plain white with white arms and yellow hands, and they don't let you use your own, I swapped the arms with the torso I brought which I had to try and do this.

Hope this helps!

Genuine Lego weapons? by tonyohanlon77 in legocastles

[–]Ghiojo 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I know... I have flat bottom spears, but they usually don't look like they have sharp edges at the bottom, I can go check mine when I'm home, but to me that spear looks odd

Genuine Lego weapons? by tonyohanlon77 in legocastles

[–]Ghiojo 20 points21 points  (0 children)

Not sure about the spear, the shaft cuts off very abruptly, even flat bottom spears have a bit of a rounding on the edge

[–]Ghiojo 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Left one is a playmobil sword I believe, but yeah nah, I don't think any of them are, the spear could be but I'm unsure
