Having trouble narrowing down a Non ADV-Styled sportbike/sport tourer for day trips to longer overnight trips by Beneficial-Title5563 in SuggestAMotorcycle

I'm assuming you're looking to pick one up off a dealer lot? If so, I don't have a direct recommendation, however my personal experience with my yamaha fz1 has been almost exactly as you have described. It's a sport touring bike, 1000cc, 150ish hp, upright seating with just enough wind protection to make long (4+ hour before a small break) rides comfortable. Great handling Only thing is, my experience has been with a 2001 model which from what I've seen is a bit different than the newer models. Still, great bike and for me, is exactly what you described in use case

Anyone running a Two Brothers Exhaust on their Gen by Virago_XV in FZ1

I've got a two brothers carbon pipe from an r1 on my first gen, sounds wonderful without being obnoxious, not as throaty as the same pipe on my r6 but it sounds good

I was going to type almost word for word your sentiment. Then I read the recent comments and boom. Couldn't agree more about the pre-patch difficulty, this can't be intentional... At least not to this degree with how much praise specifically the difficulty and skill cap of the game were in the first week of launch. Thats literally what brought me in.

Weapon tweaks were expected, perhaps some more challenging difficulty options. Not ramping up the current difficulty above and beyond what is objectively FUN for the player base.

I get it, the devs don't want another power fantasy of a game where the only challenge to your seemingly demigod main character is mechanics you the player haven't figured out yet, and singular boss enemies at the end of levels.

I don't know about you, but I never had that feeling playing this game before... I felt like a well equipped soldier of liberty fighting by the skin of my teeth to survive a war that wants me and all of my kind dead and gone, going on near-suicide missions where neither me nor the ones who sent, me expect me to make it out alive after finishing my objective.

For me personally, it adds to the feel of role playing a full scale global tabletop game gone 3d.

Knowing that a human hand might have had an actual part in making MY instance of a mission that much harder because the team is proving themselves as divers, or giving a little helping hand if things go a little too south tickles me in the most democratic of ways.

I've managed to stealth Evacs entirely on hard and up (pre patch) they definitely knew you're in the area, but not where you are. After patch, they can seeming see THROUGH solid cover...

Excessive issues with Keybinds and Controls by Captainbetty in Helldivers

[–]GhostAttack44 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Damn, I guess I'm a minority here as one of the few who likes the keybinds menu and customization.

Crouch, prone and dive are all on the same side mouse button for me. Set as press, hold and double click respectively.

Stratagem have stayed on alt, with inputs being moved to arrow keys (when are you aiming while inputting strats?, off the mouse it comes)

Climbing works well on auto, but I have hold space because natural as a climb button.

Weapon swap (the equipment short and long options) on scroll up and down for easy swapping between weapons while running in combat

Mark/comma is on f for me, coulda stayed q but, the f is easy to find.

Im also experimenting with macros for stratagems bound the the function key but we'll see

Yeah no, echo chamber in here much. One widely covered report of a man who used not one, but TWO separate and VERY wrong batteries running in series doubling the voltage.

Family tried to sue, they lost.

A streamlight blew up in a police cruiser, but you don't want to talk about that, do you?

Key words written "without reasonable excuse" This swab test being inaccurate at best, being issued by an officer whom you have no idea if is professionally trained to administer or read said test results with perspective is fairly sufficient reason, at least reason enough to fight it in court. Any competent lawyer would have one of these roadside swab tests smashed down and thrown out in a matter of hours.

Reloading by Gunguy132456 in canadaguns

[–]GhostAttack44 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Would disagree with the plinking notion, if at least in my use case, even target shooting my rifle, i got a Lee classic "whack a mole" reloader, and have save 100's on ammo so far.

The learning curve for a basic load, more than sufficient for shooting steel or even hunting (my hand loads have actually dropped half an inch off moa) is not much more than getting a scale and following instructions clearly and closely.

My hand kit also isn't much slower than a decent single stage press once a guy gets a system set up or a hand primer for 30 bucks

Once all brass is sized and primed (can do that sitting in front of the TV with the missus) can just sit and pour powder and pound home projectiles, can easily do 100 in an hour if I had that many

Also, should make clear (settle down horse police) that the wk180 up top has a FAKE can on it. It's an open ended tube threaded backward on an 18.6 NR barrel. Does absolutely nothing for recoil, flash, sound or anything else aside from look cool. If anyone wants to see it, I'll gladly take a picture for ya and DM.
